Sycamore Springs Golf Course
About
Sycamore Springs Golf Course has managed to stay one of Arlington's best-kept secrets since it first opened as a nine-hole course in 1958. The second nine wasn’t added until 1994. It's often considered an underrated course, but locals in the know will tell you it's one of the most challenging rounds you'll find in the area. The golf course has a traditional design that measures 6,681 yards. It would be a mistake to underestimate Sycamore Springs since there are a number of tricky doglegs that require some deft maneuvering and greens that play fast and true. The golf course is especially tough on windy days. There are a few ponds that come into play and a creek meanders through the course as well. Sycamore Springs G.C. also has a driving range, two putting greens, and a chipping green for golfers to use.

Cool Course
Being from a larger city originally and coming to the area for law school, I struggled to find a nice golf course. With only one week left, I finally found this one. By far the nicest place I have played in the Lima, Kenton, Findlay area, except for Findlay Country Club.
Great Course!
Our foursome frequently plays this course because it is one of the best courses in the Hancock/Seneca Counties. Greg, the clubhouse manager, is terrific, as well as those employees who work for him. The course is maintained at a very high level. The sand traps are in great shape. The layout is trouble free, if you avoid the mature trees and water hazards.
Weekday Round
Course is beautiful and well maintained. It is a challenging course with lots of woods.
Great halfway course cold/tol
Spent a very delightful round of golf with a friend, precious boss at Sycamore today. The pace was our own, great rate from golfnow with an added reward. Course was in great shape, traps very playable. This is a tree lined course and the greens were very fast today. Very enjoyable and worth the hour and a half to meet my friend who drove an hour from the opposite direction…
Nice course
$22 was the cheapest I saw on the weekend for a hot deal. It has very nice carts, tee boxes and fairways. The greens were in very good condition as well as challenging. I look forward to playing this course again.
Unbelievable
Best. Course for the money greens excellent fairways like putting on ball on a tee Country club setting
Beautiful layout
This course was absolutely stunning and very well taken care of. This was my first time playing here and the man working the clubhouse was very welcoming and inviting and said he was glad to have me. I really appreciated that. The greens were super fast and no joke but rolled true.
Don’t need a bathroom
It’s a great course and fun and challenging layout but wish they had any kind of bathroom out side of the club house. It has putting greens for front and back side along with a range at the course.
Great course
This is a great course and I would play here as often as I could if I had the money. The course is one of the more expensive ones in the area. Very nice course and would recommend to anyone. We got behind a foursome that was VERY slow. We skipped hole 10 and went to 11 b/c they were so slow.
Very playable with big trees
The conditions from clubhouse to the back tee was above average. Pace of play was 4 hours. Good greens, great weather and great golf! Fun and contrasting golf holes make this course a pleasure!
Course is one you should play when in the area
This course is well maintained and a joy to play. Very good condition for play in the late fall for Northwest Ohio.
GREAT COURSE
HAD A GREAT TIME. FRONT SIDE IS OPEN WITH A LITTLE WATER. THE BACK TIGHTENS UP AND IS A LITTLE SHORTER. COURSE WAS WELL MANICURED IN MY OPINION.
Overall great facility
-Range, chipping & putting greens kept up
-club house/patio kept up
-course is in great condition
- lacks grass length & obstacle challenges
