Ashland Golf Club

We played on a Monday and thought it would be a light day. Boy were we wrong! We had to wait on several holes on the front nine. We decided to skip a hole so we could go ahead of the foursome ahead of us who would not pick up the pace. I know the rules of golf if you are a slower player let the group behind you play through. After that we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this course.

They said no more than foursome allows but we got behind a six-some who didn't seem to understand golf etiquette and forced us to wait 3 holes before they finally relented and let us play through. Other than that the course is great!!

Wish I would have found this course sooner ! Will definitely be back next year !

Ashland Golf Club is probably my favorite course in Northern Ohio. The course is short great for walking, some easy holes, but some very difficult holes. The greens break just the way they look like they should and have great speed. Ashland is a great course with great staff.

Man I love this track but this course eats me up everytime. This is not a bombers course you really have to think your way around it. Staying below the hole is a must with these quick greens. Course is in great shape

Had fun playing the course but over read break on greens several times.

This golf club has enough practice balls before playing golf without extra charges and enough sands and creeks. Not easy greens either. Challangeable Course. I recommend to all golfers.

Great course everything was perfect except the weather. Worth the drive

This is the former CC of Ashland, that went public 2 years ago. Course remains as good a s private one. Extremely subtle breaks on greens, need to look both above and below the hole before putting. A creek meanders through the course as well. Only 10 cars in the lot on Sunday Noon, played in less than 3 hours. Do not miss this one when a hot deal arrives on golfnow.

Also had an excellent post round meal at "Shanks" bar and grill. All personnel here were quite friendly and hospitable.

I highly recommend this course to everyone.

One of the most enjoyable times playing golf. The course is country club quality. Tees and fairways were in excellent condition, the rough was tough but still able to get a club on the ball. The greens were true and quick and the bunkers were in great shape. The course had quite a few hills and the landing areas on several holes were into an uphill making the hole play a couple of clubs longer. Nice track with quality par threes and good variety in the fours and fives.

Nice course, staff was very friendly and helpful. NIce pace of play, not pushed and never waited on group ahead. The course is in good shape.

I've played the course hundreds of times --went to Ashland College, but the clubhouse & staff are new this year. The course, especially the greens are in great shape & very fast. You do not want to be above the hole on a number of greens. The day I played it was very windy & threatening to storm, but the Hot Deal from Golf Now was undeniable. I was one of just a few people on the course, which used to be a Private Country Club; so pace-of-play was an expedited 2.25hrs for all 18holes. The grounds crew was busy trying to keep up with leaf-control.

This is a GREAT course to play and the staff was AMAZING!!!!!!! I think what, I like most about the course is it's county club feel. Which is really hard to find now days. Worth the ride Gooo play!!!

Blazing fast greens. Narrow fairways and lots of hazards make this a challenge.

quick greens and winding fairways make this track a course for shot makers. You'll need to control the tee ball here. Most fairways are tree lined and errant shots can cost you. loved the challenge at Ashland. We drove down from Cleveland and it's worth the drive.
Can't wait to tackle this course again soon.

Played as a single and finished in two hours playing 18 on a somewhat busy day. Great par 3's and hole 12 is very challenging! Layout is very nice! Elevation changes are a great challenge.

Ashland Golf Club a great example of early 20th design. Tree lined fairways weave their way through the woods and over gently rolling terrain. Free range balls and a nice putting green. The Pro was very welcoming and encouraged me to hit balls, warm up and take my time, just asked that I teed off an hour within my tee time (before the next group of tee times was scheduled to tee off). Played as a single and played fast. Nice set of pair fives, fun course.

This course is beautiful. The fairways are immaculate along with the tee boxes. Greens are tricky and roll true. Have played many courses in north east Ohio and this definitely one of the nicest courses around.

The course was in fantastic shape, and the new club house/bar was a great way to add some character/modernization.
