Fast greens. Fair and playable rough. Pristine fairways. Good, consistent sand in the bunkers.
Sound like a pipe dream for golfers? Not so fast.
These 25 public golf courses brough prime conditioning consistently in 2024, according to our reviewers. As you'll see, there is tremendous variety in this list, from a couple courses with $300 and $400 green fees and several under $75. A course doesn't need to be super-expensive to be in great shape anymore.
Each course had to receive at least 10 reviews to be eligible for our list of the best conditioned courses in America.
Congratulations are in order for the superintendents and their staffs. We salute you!
