Don't Don't It
I (see my review on thier website) am an advid golfer, and fair in reviews. The course is awesome, but the staff (minus the ground crew) is very rude! I was spoken to and over heard a few others talked to in a condensending manner for minor to stupid questions or walking to the bathroom--truth! It used to be a great place to play, but until management changes, 4get it!
Whilkshire golf course.
Course was in great shape. Staff was awesome. I will return. It will definitely make you think about your next shot on some hole.
Pace of play was awful
Pace of play was terrible. There were no marshals on the course to help speed things up. Several holes had three groups on them. I tried to go around some groups to find some open space after seven holes. I went to the 10th T there were two groups on the T box 2 groups in the fairway. I went in and said something to the folks in the pro shop and they didn’t have an answer nor did they act like they cared. I’ve played this course many times before and this was my worst experience. I will never go back.
Pace of play.
My son and I got paired up with another pair. We were behind another 4 some. In front of them was a 3 some. They were extremely slow, and would not let anyone go through. Very annoying. A course ranger would’ve been helpful
Great experience
First round in a few years and found a killer rate and just had to jump on it. Course was very fun, challenging with out being to hard. Cart died on 16 but they had another one out in a matter of minutes. Will definitely be back
Fabulous Course
Challenging and rewarding at the same time. Condition was outstanding.
I love this course.
I consider this to be my home course. They have everything you'd need to become a great golfer. Putting green, chipping green, driving range, covered driving range, very friendly course in itself. Great carts, great staff, my only complaint is in my game not the course. Actually, got on golfnow to check tee times for this very course when prompted to give a review. They deserve a good review so I felt the need to let anyone else know to give them a try or another chance if you've had a bad experience. Everyone ive either met or played with here has been good to me, respect the course and the staff and I dont believe you would have an issue.
