Oak Shadows

Course is a yearly trip for me to go play as it's two hours away. Every year it's in great shape and staff is super friendly. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

There’s no course management. Waited 5 min for every single shot. There’s no stater. They had a foursome followed by a 2 some, a single and another twosome. Won’t be back . Tee boxes were awful and beat up

This is the third time we've played Oak Shadows. First 2 times things were great. Today play was slow which you expect sometimes on weekend. Problem today was clubhouse had two groups go off 10 while we were making the turn! Frustrating! Things really slowed down on the back!!! Went in to check with club manager to make sure they didn't just hop on. He did indeed send them off the back cause front was full????? Done playing at Oak Shadow!

The elevation change is much different than what I am used to on the courses closer to my home in the Akron area. You're able to see for miles from certain tee boxes. Course is well-maintained and greens roll true. Challenging course without being overly difficult.

Only complaint about the course is the lack of ball washers on the tee boxes.

Had a great time playing with Tom and Rob, who i met on the first tee.

Only issue keep this course from getting 5 stars is the lack of ball washers. With the soft greens, washers are much needed!!

This course was in great shape. Not super long, but very challenging. The greens were amazing. Very true rolling and quick. I noticed alot of ball marks though. This means 2 things. 1. The course gets a lot of play, because it's a challenge and affordable. 2. There are idiots out there that take things for granted.

Only thing needed for more stars is...need more ball washers on the course. The par 3's are the only tees that have them.

First time playing this course and will be back. If you have never played here make the drive. The course layout was very fun and challenging from the back tees with very fast greens that were in great condition. The ladies in the pro shop were super nice as was the young man who check me in for play. They have a nice range and very good prices. If you play here don’t be disappointed by the putting green that was just okay because the real greens were great. The only bad I can say is that pace of play was slow which I have read before is from local groups playing there which I experienced as well so a ranger would have been nice. Also I followed these groups and they did not fix their ball marks which was a shame due to the green keeper is doing a great job. This course was very fun with a layed back atmosphere and I would highly recommend.
