About
Skyland Pines Golf Course is an 18-hole public course situated in Canton. The layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels with five sets of tees that are diverse enough to challenge avid golfers yet gentle enough for beginners. The greens play true and fast, providing some of the area's best putting surfaces. The golf course is mostly flat and wide-open but what it lacks in elevation changes it makes up for in strategically placed bunkers, which can be found lurking beside the fairways and framing the greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a few holes. In addition to the golf course, Skyland Pines is popular for its lighted driving range that has both turf and grass tees. You can still get some practice in when it's cold too with the covered, heated range.

Excellent
Course was in great shape. Greens were a little fast today. Staff were all super hospitable and helpful. Love this course.
Keeps getting better
This course has become my favorite place to play. The staff is always friendly and the course was in really good condition. The pace was just right. I will definitely be all summer!

Great Fall golf
The course was in decent condition. The fairways were really nice. Staff is very courteous!
Very nice
It was really slow on the front 9 but not as bad on the back 9. Greens are still really fast but more manageable this time. I will definitely be back!
Fast Greens
Overall the course is really nice. Very straight fairways. However the greens were super fast and I have never rimmed so many cups. Otherwise the pace of play was excellent and the food from the kitchen was great. I will definitely be back!
Great condition
For this late in the year Skyland is still in fantastic condition. Looking to play there again in the next week

Greens are lightning fast, sand traps fully course is in great condition for this time of year, trees trimmed and well maintained...keep up the great job
First time playing
Great experience! Starter, pro shop team and course all awesome! Had a slower four some 2 ahead of us but over all great experience! Highly recommend!
Great course
I have played here several times every time has been an enjoyable round. The pace of play is good and rarely have any waiting what groups in front of you. The greens are fast but fair pretty flat greens only green that has any really bad slope is the first hole... The first hole you want to make sure you're below the hole. Make sure you keep it in the fairway even if you're off slightly the trees can give you some trouble. The driving range is in pretty good shape. The food at the snack bar is typical burger hot dogs but good priced and good food.
Great First Impression
The pace of play was excellent and as a two-some we played 18 holes in under 4 hours. The staff was very friendly and wanted to be sure all golfers were enjoying their round. I would most definitely recommend this course to everyone who wants to play at a course that is in good shape and challenges you to keep the ball in the fairway in order to play well.
Skyland Pines
This course was nice. The layout is a lot of back and forth, but the fairways are wide enough that the wild shots stays in your lane. Greens are very flat. There were a lot of those "helicopter" pods all over the ground and on the greens, which made putting a challenge.
Phenomenal greens
The greens here are absolutely outstanding. You will be hard pressed to find a public course that compares. I plan on playing a lot of golf here.
Awesome course!
Staff has ALWAYS been friendly. The golf pro Cheryl is amazing. With the course having new ownership, I must say the entire course is in the best shape it's been in in over 10 years. Grass is cut. Leaves are blown off of the roughs. And the greens... Oh their greens are so crisp! Awesome driving range. Only thing I would suggest, is maybe implementing a practice bunker for players? Other than that, this place has a great atmosphere. A 5 star course at a great reasonable price!

Enjoyable round even though we have had a lot of rain. Greens were still in great shape. Will absolutely play again.
Impressed
Had an early morning round so no pace of play issues. Given how much rain over the last month, the greens and rough were cut well. Not a difficult course but good for the area. Would absolutely play here again.
The course has a nice layout
The greens are lighting fast so if u don’t like fast greens u won’t want to play it.

Been playing this course over 20 years and it has never been in better shape. Best greens I will probably play all year.
