About
The Golf Club at Yankee Trace touts the title of "Dayton's best golf course" as well as being the top public course in the entire Miami Valley. The club has two courses, the nine-hole Vintage Course and the challenging 18-hole Championship Course. Both courses sprawl across lush, grassy meadows. The Vintage Course has a classic design that is player-friendly enough for beginner. For more advanced players, it is great for some quick practice or as a warm-up to the longer golf course. In addition to the 27 holes of golf, Yankee Trace also offers a bentgrass practice range. One of the main reasons the club has remained so popular since opening is the staff's commitment to providing country club atmosphere and service for the price of a public course.

Excellent Day
Play here several times a year. Great course conditions, good pace of play, and would recommend the course to everyone
Very nice course but pace of play an issue
The course is in great shape. The range was in great shape as well. The pace of play was horrible! We could have been playing with 8 in our group and probably still have to wait every shot. Very disappointing about that given they had rangers all over the course. They just drove around like they didn't care.
Always satisfies
Yankee Trace may not be the most interesting layout, but at a time when many courses are not able to sufficiently maintain course conditions, Yankee excels. Last year was the highest rate of play yet, and the course is in great condition. From the blue trees, the course is all the challenge I can handle. The clubhouse facilities are excellent, and the prices for food and drinks is reasonable. All in all, it's easy to recommend Yankee to friends.
Good experience at Yankee Trace
We played the original front nine and the Vintage back nine. The course is in great condition. We were behind a slow foursome but they allowed us to play through. Had a good time. It was worth the rate they charged.
Very Fun Course
Fairways and greens in excellent condition. VERY FUN course to play for any handicap. They are updating bunker system and range is one of the best in the area. Pace is great in the am but slows to average in the afternoon.
Nice track...but a bit pricey for conditions in relation to other local courses
Nice layout...peak rates are a bit over the top. Conditions vary but considering the amount of play it gets they do a decent job. Nice clubhouse but so many private functions (money maker)... limits golfer access to the 19th hole far, far too often. Bunkers can be inconsistent.
