940 tee
The course was in great shape with the amount of rain that fell. The greens are in great shape. Only 2 had damage from the rain. We finished in 4 hrs.
Pace is slow after 8:30
Pace was a little over 5 hours. Rangers didn’t say anything to the slow group in front of us. Greens were also pretty bumpy and slow which was unusual for them.
Mountainside
Not a fan of courses, when you are in the fairway you still have a terrible lie.
That's just me
Pure conditions for the money
This place is very nice for the value. You pay somewhat more than NJ county courses but this place is worth it.
A nice parklands course ruined by the slowest rounds I’ve ever played
The first time I played BB was back in 2019. I played in a two ball that day and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. We were behind a 4 ball that simply wouldn’t let us play through , even though we were hanging 5-10 mins on each shot. Jump forward to 2021 - I ended up moving to the development surrounding the golf course and hoped against hope that things have improved. They have not. I played on 7/12 and I had a nigh on 2h45 minute front as a single behind a three ball, which in turn was behind a very slow 4 ball. Firstly I was not invited to join the 3 by the starter even though I was standing there when he sent the groups out , neither was I asked by any of the members of the three ball to join. However when I went in to the clubhouse to mention the slow pace of play apparently it was my fault for not asking to join the 3 ball, as the flippant and frankly non plussed teenager behind the pro shop desk told me. It’ breaks my heart to say this because the ground crew on this court does a phenomenal job but - never EVER play here if you want a round below hours. I could literally walk to the course from my house and I’ll drive 20 mins to join Hawk Pointe instead
The course and the way it played was exceptional but the staff was atrocious.
Sent out groups early and complained about our arrival (we arrived 25 mins prior to our tee time).
Bummed out about that part but it was only a minor inconvenience to a beautiful and fun golf day.
Great value
Course was in great shape despite little rain recently, greens especially. Staff was all friendly, great bar for 19th hole. Will definitely be back!
Ok not great
Interesting course layout, moderately challenging and a good course for higher handicappers given its length and tee options. Tee boxes in B+ shape. Some bunkers and greens needed work. Fairways were fine. Pace of play was atrocious and the staff didn’t seem to be able to do anything about it. Staff was very nice though. Played on a hot day and no way to get food or drinks when out on the course until you hit the turn. Overall an average experience.
Greens were in good condition. Par 5s were short. People were nice. Pace of play was slow. Restaurant was closed. Food cart did not carry ice tea.
