Beaver Brook Country Club

Interesting course layout, moderately challenging and a good course for higher handicappers given its length and tee options. Tee boxes in B+ shape. Some bunkers and greens needed work. Fairways were fine. Pace of play was atrocious and the staff didn’t seem to be able to do anything about it. Staff was very nice though. Played on a hot day and no way to get food or drinks when out on the course until you hit the turn. Overall an average experience.

Greens were in good condition. Par 5s were short. People were nice. Pace of play was slow. Restaurant was closed. Food cart did not carry ice tea.

This was my third time playing Beaver Brook.

Of the three times I played, I not finished the entire round only once.

The golf course itself is nice but the pace of play is brutally slow. Left after the 13th hole. 3 hours into the round.

I saw a staff member as I was leaving and told him that they need a ranger on the course to speed up play and he said that they have one but he only works till 3 o’clock.

My advise is to only play this course if you don’t mind waiting before every shot.

Easily a 5 hour round. Maybe more.

We had a great time on Sunday. The greens were in great shape and tricky. The rest of the course was also well done.

Course is in excellent shape. Greens are pristine, with the exception of one under repair. Cart paths are overdue for a paving but it doesn’t detract from the experience much.

Nice course, a few wonky holes but overall a fun track.

Had a wonderful time this past Saturday at Beaver Brook. Went with a 3 some and they paired us up with a great gentleman ,John (who lives across the street). The local knowledge that he gave was valuable. He called some lucky bounce " Beaver Brook Love" .definitely be back soon.

Definitely you will enjoy this coarse it’s worth playing. Usually fairly easy to get a Tee Time that works for you.

Nice layout and always in good shape. Can't beat it for the money.

A few years back this place was not on my list to play. New owners have really done some nice work to upgrade the course and clubhouse/grill bar area. Layout on some holes is a bit quirky. Not a grip and rip on every hole type of place. A few holes you have to hit an iron off tee which makes it fun. Challenging as well. You’ll use all your clubs in the bag here. Greens are very fast.

I joined a club a few years ago. I haven't played Beaver Brook since. My loss. Forgot how much fun this course is. 23Apr2024 and the course is in good shape. I half expected to show up to aerated/sanded greens. Not the case. Greens we're running fast and fairly true. Boneheads have come out of hibernation and haven't learned about fixing ball marks. One difference between private/public golf(?). As usual, BB places a premium on driving. Enjoyed my round and will keep coming back.

Love playing here. Course is always in good shape. The only problem I have is the pin placements can sometimes be unfair
