Soldier Hill Golf Course

$24 for 18 holes including cart on golf now hot deal is what got me to play here again. My last visit was 2 years ago and the course was in bad shape. I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of work going into the course. Showed up 30 mins early and was able to get right out on the tee. The starter was very friendly and cared about my remarks on the club. It is a challenging course but maybe only a small step above the Bergen county courses, I feel they really need to drastically lower the greens fees to get people to play here. I will play here again if I get another hot deal.

Poor course condition. i am not recommend this course.

Other than the fact that it was 40 degrees in the morning, we still had a great time playing. This was a tougher course for my group based on our skill level as we are all in our 2nd-3rd year playing. The course was very long. The conditions were good for the weather and time of year. I imagine that they can only get better as it warms up. This course is definitely worth playing if you live in the immediate area.

Its unfortunate how far this track has fallen. Greens were mostly sand. Fairways and tee boxes were kept poorly. Whomever owns this place isn't willing to sink one dime into it apparently.

On top of that its a 6500 yard layout from the mens tees. 430 yard dog leg par 4's aren't gonna be reachable even for above average golfers on a regular basis.

The one positive is we played 18 in 3 hours. .....because nobody will play this place.

I won't be back, which is a shame given how close it is to home.

The course is a train wreck at the moment. Greens are being aerated, but that doesn't even begin to describe how poor of condition they are in. Most are little more then packed sand. Fairways are completely dried out as well.

One good thing, the Sand Traps seem to have been refilled, and they are in impeccable condition. We will see how long that lasts.

Nice course, somewhat flat, but the holes were varied as much as the topography allowed. I thought it was a nice course and I enjoyed playing there. It is nice to have a daily fee course in Bergen County. We'll see how many they pack on the course on a summer weekend.

Emerson was a fun track, good value. The greens were just punched but were still in good shape.

not in great shape those who wrote that don't know a good course, tee boxes very bad, greens bad, not worth the money not even the 50.00 we paid on glfnow.

Solid, simple, close to home. Not TOO out of budget, I didn't mind the place at all!

It is in good shape. The course has a great layout with a variety of hole types, bunkers, trees, and water. The price was very low I paid $48 with cart definitely recommend playing it

weather was dreary. Course was soggy under the top layer of grass. Greens were small & quite easy-no undulations & very little break. No waiting at all. Nobody on the course. Price should've been reduced for the early season. bunkers in poor condition (weather related)

nice challengeing course. had some rain but held up well . 90 degree today which was goor

Course is abused, not well maintained. Management most unfriendly I've ever encountered. Probably cause they don't
get much business, the fees are way too high for the conditions. I only play there either for my convenience or they are only course open year round. Every golfer I've played with there says same thing. Better off going to the range

Played here before but perhaps first time during winter....was pretty empty, so pace was extremely fast. First time to finish 18 holes in 3 & 1/2 hours (started at 11:50 and finished by 3:20 pm)!! Generally fairway is wide and easy to play for someone like myself (hitting 90s). Would like to come back..great course.

This course is pretty tough. If you play from the tips, it is one of the toughest around (almost 7,000 yards). No stand out holes but the length makes it interesting with club selection.

Would and do like to play this course, recently I had heard play was very slow and had shied away. This day we arrived early and had a frost delay but played in less then 4 hours. Can not attest to the play time when they are busy, but well maintained and you will hit every club in your bag.

Perfect location decently maintained course. lond driver is mandatory to get to play better otherwise not easy course to make good score. Greens are getting lot better..
