long course, have to hit the fairways, a lot of trees, love the greens a lot of break, but front 9 slow and back 9 a little faster....i will play again

Just this year we played at least 13-14 golf courses this by far was the worst. T-Boxes dirt and rocks fairways weeds and just bad better off hitting in the rough if you value your clubs. Greens ok only thing just ok here. I remember this place from 15 years ago it was a good course. New owners should turn it into town houses now. 0-Stars

Average layout but long. No amenities, which is sad. Course could be in much better condition. Greens were better then expected. Expensive for the course condition.

Not too bad but if the regular price is $39 it would border on "Not Worth the Money"

I always enjoy getting in 18 holes here. Course is forgiving but provides the opportunity to use every club and every shot. Fairways and greens are always in good shape.

Played this course a few times the past two years, but as last minute resort due to the $100 cost.. But at $75 this course is a Bargin... Course is always in great shape and they leave enough time in between tee times so your not waiting or holding any one up. My only gripe was the fact that there was not a beverage cart that comes around and when we wanted to grab a bite at the club house we were told many things that were on the menu were not available and that they leave at 2.. This is on a Sunday between 1:30 - 1:45... Overall will absolutly play this course again as long as the price and time between tee times stays the same.

Every time my friends ask if we can get a last minute tee time, I always know Emerson is a viable option. This is because the course (minus the greens) are in horrendous shape no matter what part of the season you play it.

*The tee boxes looked like the tee markers hadn't been moved in weeks....some tee boxes were OK, most were worn out, and far too many were made up of just weeds. I'm not exaggerating one bit, the tee box was just a patch of weeds. I thought it was funny that even the little box where you're supposed to put your broken tees in, wasn't maintained. GRASS WAS GROWING THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF IT....all you have to do is pick it up and mow the grass underneath to hide that neglect!

*bunkers were horrendous. I'll go a little easy because it just rained the day prior, but you could tell that they hadn't been taken care of prior to that for quite some time. Again, weeds were growing all over in them and there was no clear shape to them. ( I know it sounds strange, but if you're dumb enough to play this place you'll know exactly what i mean)

*ranger didn't care that the group in front of us must have taken a lengthy lunch break and then slowed us down tremendously on the back 9. I didn't see a group in front of my threesome during the front 9, and then we had to wait the whole time on the back 9. I went to the ranger before teeing off on the 10 and asked him if these guys just went off and/or what the deal was and he didn't seem to care at all. I tried to be polite about it, but he seemed to be too oblivious to the point I was making, so i just dealt with it.

****THE ROUND WAS $80****

-I have absolutely no problem paying $80 for a round of golf....but this place is ABSOLUTELY not worth more than $40. In my opinion you'd be better suited going to a county course and saving a few bucks even if you're an out of county resident.

I don't know what needs to be done to help this course out, but maybe that's just because the list is so long that i don't even know where to begin. Emerson Golf Club, you've let me down for the very last time....until you make drastic changes, i'll NEVER be back

Course is long and straight but if they keep up the maintenance then this can become an amazing course

Good staff and people, course needs some improvement in green, tee boxes, update bunkers and this will become a great fun course

Excellent greens, nice and long course.

I have played it a number of times. It is not a 90 dollar course. We only play it out of desperation. I guess since it is not worth the money, it always has plenty of open tee time. Tee boxes need help, fairways need help, the rough is terrible. The greens are usually nice. Play it if you have too. Not a destination course.
