Booked 11:40 started at 12:00. Played 7 holes in 3 hours because waiting , then got rained out and staff couldn’t rain check because they said talk to golf now. They also charged us for cart when it said it was included.
Beautiful Beginner Course!
The course is a beautiful 9 holes of golf with well maintained par 3 and a few par 4 holes for the beginner to intermediate skilled golfer.
We had a beautifully sunny day to enjoy the woods and water that surround and envelope the full 9 holes. The course was busy, and some patience was needed, but the people playing the holes in front of us kept the pace moving and made for an enjoyable outing for all!
Really enjoyed my time at Mastic Woods, and will be back! Patrick
Great Golf Course for beginners or for a refresher.
Mastick woods is a well maintained golf course, and perfect for beginners or for a refresher for intermediate players. Also, those that are soccer enthusiasts should check out foot golf at Mastick woods as well. Intertwined among the 9 regular golf fairways are 18 holes utilized for soccer foot golf, which is a very good time and experience.
I was a little surprised at the total cost, but realizing it was the weekend. It costs $72 for 3 with a cart on a Saturday morning. Also, I recommend calling Mastick direct to make a reservation, as I paid an additional $9 to make a reservation online. I could have played 18 holes with a cart for 3 for close to this total price paid to play at Mastick woods.
Overall, I would recommend this course.
GolfNow Pricing and pace of play
When I arrived, the person at the clubhouse informed me the price was significantly less than what I had already paid on GolfNow ($35 less) and it did not show I had a cart and would need to pay. I explained that I had already overpaid based on her pricing and that it did include a cart. There was a lot of confusion.
Once we finally got to the 1st tee, we were delayed by about 45 minutes. Pace was very slow and there were no carts. Course did not monitor groups. The group in front of us went off as 7 and stayed together the entire time. Finally let up play through after 7 holes.
Overall, this is a beginner course and we still had a fun time but there needs to be some issues addressed overall by the course.
This is a perfect course if you are a beginner or just looking to work on your shots for a cheap price!

The course took heavy rain yesterday and was closed. You can’t control the weather but you can control whether or not you list available tee times. I booked a round 45 minutes before the tee time to arrive at the course to find the course is closed. How hard is it to not sell tee times that you know don’t exist? Do better.
