Auglaize Golf Club
About
Located just south of Defiance, Auglaize Golf Club is situated along the river that it gets its name from. The river wraps around the entire front nine but there is plenty of water throughout the golf course, it comes into play on a total of 13 holes. Water isn't the only challenge, though. There are more than 30 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Still, the most difficult element of the course is the varied shapes and contours of the greens, which can make them tough to hit. Most of the holes on the front nine are framed by mature trees, but the back nine opens up a bit more. The second half of the golf course is also more forgiving. Auglaize Golf Club requires thoughtful strategy and creative shot making but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Very Nice Course!
This was a very beautiful course with a nice layout. I would definitely come back and recommend this course to anyone thinking of playing it
Always an excellent time!
Overall a great day of golf as usual, as Auglaize is always in great shape and has great staff!
Moderate challenges for the low handicap golfer
Course that is set up for everyone to enjoy and test their skills... From the hacker to low handicap golfer
Big fast greens,great lay out.
Good balance of difficulty to forgiveness.Narrow holes have playable lies if off fairways, but water is never far! Large fast greens reward thoughtful putts.
Great condition and the pace of play was quick.
Hadn't played this course in many years and really enjoyed it. The greens are excellent and fast. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful !!!!!!!!!
All i can say is the course was perfect . Play this course. greens were the best i have seen ,better then some on pga. i cant see how they could be better. fair ways soft and easy divots. On golf now i can afford to play this course as i have three sons and at the course is 37.00 x 4 = ouch!!. we played for a lot less. will be going back soon.
This course is very nice.
Although only 6500 yards from the back tees, this is a nice little course. It is maintained well, the fairways are watered & weed free and the greens are hard, fast and some have coniderable slope, but they are fair. There are numerous bunkers, all with white, soft sand. The course is a little comgested; some tee boxes are only steps away from the previous hole's green. The front nine is a more picturesque than the back and has mre trees. There are some distractions; boats on the nearby ponds and Auglaoze River. However, they are not terribly disturbing.
It's definately worth playing if you've never been there.
Greens are in great condition!
For the money you can't beat it! I'd play it again and again
