Pike Run Golf Club

First and last time playing. Was stuck behind a fivesome that included a five-year-old little girl. She would roll around and crawl on the greens, and the parents/grandparents would let her hit shots (if you want to call it that) from time to time. Disaster. And they were behind a sixsome. Just an awful, long, tortuous, mind-numbing way to spend our holiday. Literally the slowest pace of play we have ever experienced anywhere.

Booked online and used a discount code otherwise probably would have gone elsewhere. Arrived an hour before T time, pro shop is closed. Carts are locked up. Bar staff advises I can probably get a raincheck...confers with manager,, NO. I need to cancel online and thereby lose my promo code. Fine. In the meantime said manager decides to cop an attitude and blame me that they are unable to honor their commitment and/or manage their online reservations but either way I'm not sure how this course has ever had over a 3.5 star rating

The tee boxes are still growing grass, not all but some. The fairways are wide and the grass is cut. Great course for beginners.
