Challenging
Challenging golf course. Would definitely play again.
Get Ready !
This course is a lot of fun to play and will test every single part of your game from tee to green. The only downside is the cart paths. Be sure to go reaaally slow from 7 green to 8 tee as you don’t want to fall off the cliff from the treacherous god awful cart path. Keep in mind as well that there is no practice range to get warmed up for one tough test of golf.
A jewel in Elyria
You would never guess that a course that beautiful is in the middle of Elyria. What they did in the redesign by opening up the views of the River is incredible. Each home is a post card. They have elevation changes that offer great views as well. 5 tee boxes make the course playable for all levels. Tee boxes, greens, & fairways were in great shape and I like how you can see long wild grass all over the place—but we never hit a ball into it. A gem—come to Elyria and check it out! Go to Uncle Bo’s bbq nearby after!
Great condition
This was my second time playing the course and it was a much better better experience than my first time in 2021. Track was in great condition, pace of play was good. Greens are EXTREMELY fast.
Only downside is that there’s no range onsite - for a Nicklaus design, I’d expect better practice facilities. Otherwise, it’s a fun course that I’ll play again.
Very Tough
Very hard course but very fun. A lot of tight driving holes. Greens play fast. Expensive at 65 a round but worth playing a couple times a year
Nice Course that could be nicer
Enjoyed the round. Tough layout especially if you haven’t played the course before. There were a couple tee boxes that were not level and there were tee boxes that weren’t being used that looked like they could really add to the hole design. Overall a nice course for a fair price
Out of control rough
When Jack designed this course he ran out of room and forced new holes in. Since opening they have made some changes but this course layout is strictly placement golf and not for the average golfer. They have the rough so high that you get tired of looking for your golf ball just off the fairway. When it is hot out it is even worse looking for your golf ball. You are holding up the course looking and then they start 2 somes of ladies right behind you. Makes for not a fun day!
Best Course I have played
I don’t get out much. But this is by far the best course I have played. Great clubhouse great course.

Beautiful course, play here a few times a year and it gets better every time, we’ll worth the $
