It's a very nice course.Not one of the best course ,
Great Course
I love this course!! Wide open on the front 9, gets a little tighter on the back 9 but not by much. Course in very good condition.
Hot One At Briardale
Course remains a good one for all types of golfers. Greens were in great shape. Firm and nicely rolled. Surprisingly fast.
Slow and 5some during the middle of day
Took over 2:35 to play 9 holes. Was a single was expecting to get paired up but they didn’t. Was a twosome in front of me and then a 5some and then threesome at times 3 groups waiting on tees.
Walked off the course after 9 went to make the turn and there was a new twosome in front of me.
Very happy with this course.
Courses just kept up A1.
Love the layout of the course.
Practice facilities are really unbelievable.
The price is fair.
Solid course for practice rounds
This is a municipal course which is in really good conditions. The greens are true and reasonably fast. The fairways are by and large in good shape and the overall maintenance is good, the bunkers are also well maintained and the cart paths are solid. this is in better shape than many of the more premium courses around the area.
Weather conditions Drive This Course
Should be in excellent condition in a few weeks. Greens were still healing from being punched. Soper course for training And casual Goff…
Solid Course for the price range.
The course had been freshly airated so it was difficult to put, but the price more than compensated for any issues had. Friendly staff and still had a wonderful time.
This course is always open.
If you're looking for a great golf course that's open year-round, Briardale is definitely a good option. While there can be slight backups at times, the staff is friendly and helpful. The course itself is nice and flat, making it easy to navigate, and even when it's wet, it's still very playable. One of the standout features is the driving range, which is a great way to warm up before your round. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Briardale a visit.
Best Public Greens in a 100 mile radius
I play tons of golf. One thing that drives me nuts is terrible greens. Briardale layout is what it is but what that super has done to those greens over the past 3 years is nothing short of AMAZING. I can compare these greens with Sandridge and Kirtland only. No public course comes close...Only one comes close about 2 hours away called Black Gold a little South of here.
Greens were perfect
For how much it has rained, snowed, etc these greens were almost unbelievable. Very fast, smooth and in great condition. I am a pretty tough critic but was very impressed. Cannot wait to see how they are peak season.
Briardale
Good course for the money if you wait for online rates the day of. Expect to see plenty of ponding of water around if it rained a decent bit the night before, this course doesn’t drain well. But if you’re looking for a cheaper round with greens that are in good shape and a somewhat interesting track at times, this course isn’t a bad option.
