About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

This course has a couple of trick shot plays.
This course is a fun place to play plus its on my home from work. Everyone is friendly and it has a few chellenging holes.
Overbooked
Could not start for 15 minutes after our tee time due to backup. Took 1 hour to play the first 2 holes (2 of us) due to a bunch of slooooow players in front. Got to the 3rd tee and after waiting 15 minutes in line decided to leave because there was still a group ahead of us who were waiting for the previous twosome to get to the green. I will not be back here.
Wasn't impressed
Payed for 18 rained like crazy. They wouldn't give me a rain heck for the back nine. They were not very friendly.
Nice course with well maintained fairways and greens. However our round took five hours due to very slow play. Where are the Rangers?
To make a slow round even worse the Rangers showed upon on hole 14 and told us there was an outing and they needed to do a shotgun start and they were sending groups ahead of us on 16–18! Why didn't they come out earlier and speed up the people ahead of us? They could have done this better with a little more planning or better course management.
Not much in way of a clubhouse, but I was there to play golf not shop.
Took my sons and we had a nice time. Play was a little slow. They sent a group out in the middle of play and slowed down the last 3 holes. Had fun and got to spend quality time with my boys.
Good Course
Had a good time on Sunday
Did not shoot that well but the course was new to me and
trying to help new player. I wish they had not put us with another twosome. The starter said it would be fine because there was no one behind us. That was not true and I felt pushed from the third hole on.
The course was in good shape and the fairways where a delight compared to some of the courses I had played on recently. The greens stuck the ball. It rained two days before. It was a good day and nice moderate course. Will go back in a couple of weeks.

The course is in real good condition ,the greens are in great shape, the sand is good and playable. Great value on golf now.
Rude Staff, Slow pace of play.
We got an email for a free round, pay for the cart. Presented coupon and staff gave us a hard time for their special and took 20 minutes to check in. Parked cart by driving range and they came out, yelled at us to move our carts 20 yards back where there was no signs or parking of any kind. If you want a slow track with very rude staff, this is the place for you. It cost us $10 for a cart and after it was all over wanted to ask for a refund. Will not return nor recommend it to anyone.
Maturing Course
As Jamaica Run grows in age, it becomes a better and better course. Trees getting larger, precise shots needed. Greens are beginning to hold in the last few years.
Great course!
Jamaica Run is a great course and our three-some had fun for a 7:30 AM Saturday tee-time. The course was in fine shape, staff very friendly, and a moderate challenging course. I would recommend playing this course!!
Fairways in great shape.
Ladies tee boxes leave a lot to be desired. Greens could use some help. Fairways and bunkers (actually had sand!!) were in great shape.
Front 9 fantastic pace of play. Back nine was terrible, saw a ranger once come from behind. We told him the two groups in front of the group ahead of us had two open holes ahead. He was too busy looking for lost balls to keep, actually turned around and went back the way he came.
All in all, will go back. Great value for the money.

Very organized. Beautiful landscape, challanging course. You need to know and follow all rules for the corse as they will not tolerate any thing less. I understand why because it is the most well maintained golf course in the area.Will look into becoming a member as i am very impressed with overall course.

Greens were very firm. It was hard to hold an pop roach shot on the greens.
The cart paths are rough and in need of attention.
Must clear the creeks and pond
This is my first year playing golf. This coarse is above my skill leavel. They did pair me me up with another couple. They we fun, and the staff, was very helpfull.
I will go back.

Nice layout with several challenging holes
This is a rural course with minimal facilities. The greens were too firm but putted smooth and true. The fairways and rough were in very good shape. The tees were a little chewed up, but very playable. The course is a good value for the price. The place of play was a little slow and the ranger was trying to keep players moving.
Decent course, great price, slow players
This course was in nice condition and the price was great. The staff were very friendly especially one of the marshals. However, two groups ahead were some of the slowest I have ever seen. Spending 5-10 minutes looking for balls in a creek with waiting groups is preposterous, We were also paired with a twosome that just flat out did not want to play with us. That also slows things up. Do not play golf if you don't want public interaction. The course was nice besides some really dumb holes like 10 and 18. I would consider playing again.
Won't play again.
Pace of play was extremely slow! We waited way too long on every shot. Rangers were unhelpful. Course was OK but we will not return. Should have listened to the other reviews about being so slow - after almost 6 hours on the course I wish I had.
Carts were awful. Course was surprisingly in great shape. Won't go again for awhile after experience with a dog and Rangers' reaction.
Rangers laughed as a dog ran off with our chip shots on 18. It wasnt funny. Wont go back until they get rid of dogs on the course.
Unbelievably friendly atmosphere for a fun, relaxing round.
Considering the dry spell over the recent month, the course was in good shape. The greens were great. The only sign of rough wear and tear was on the tee boxes.
