About
Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton may not look like much at first but as one of the best values in the area, it has become a local favorite. It's a short course at 5,148 yards from the back tees, making it an excellent layout for beginners especially since there is very little sand and hardly any water. Long hitters may be disappointed at the lack of long par 4s and par 5s but more advanced players will find that it's great for a quick, casual round. It's a gentle golf course that any player can tackle with confidence but the subtly tricky greens provide some challenges. The approaches require a bit of strategy and accuracy doesn't hurt either though it's a very forgiving layout. Brentwood Golf Club's greens are also known for being in consistently good condition.

Would not recommend playing this course ever. When your 18 yr. Daughter says this course is terrible that should say it ALL! Save your money and go play putt-putt instead. Not even kidding
Where’s the ranger?
Cart path only days, especially in the spring are especially slow. But when the group in front of you can’t keep pace and refuses to let you play through, it gets to be a very long and frustrating 18 holes. One guy in the clubhouse running the whole show so it was no surprise, just severely disappointing.
Unfortunately it is very early in the season, we do not have our full staff on until May when the weather is more consistent. April is a very wet and usually cold month. Our course is very small, we cannot typically keep a ranger out there all the time monitoring golfers, like most small sized courses in our area. Unfortunately even when we do tell players to pick up the pace, more often than not, they continue right back to what they were doing as soon as we turn our backs. Yes, cart path only in unfortunate but it is hard to beat Mother Nature at her own game.

Rough, but friendly
The fairways and tee boxes are a little rough, the greens were true but slow. The course layout is just quirky enough to keep a good player somewhat engaged, but playable enough for beginners and higher handicaps. A good value and convenient access from the freeway. I’ll be back the next time I need to knock some rust off or work on some swing changes - which is why I was there today.
Shorter but a good practice course.
I liked the course, more beginner and intermediate play but it definitely has difficult holes. The one good thing I like about this course is that you can be done in three hours tops, even if it gets backed up.
Fast Play. Short, Easy course. Inexpensive.
Tee boxes are not well kept. Greens were below average but not the worst for July play considering how dry it is. Not very challenging but for a hot deal it’s worth it.
Nice course
Holes were challenging enough. Could use some better signage to help direct you to the next tee. Fairways were a little rough, but that was to be expected. Greens were in good shape.
Bad experience
We showed up before our tee time and checked in, there was no starter, no one outside, it appeared the only two employees there were the girls working at the counter inside. This became a problem because everyone was starting from the first hole and there were around six different groups waiting to tee off in addition to the group actually taking their shots and the other group on the green putting. Apparently tee times mean nothing here and you can just walk up and get in front of people who actually scheduled to play. Because I did not want to wait two hours to tee off and then take four hours to play nine holes I went inside to cancel and get my refund. They said that they could not refund me the money right away in the club house and that it would have to be later in the week, well I still haven’t gotten my refund or heard from the golf course. I have seen children run lemonade stands better than whoever is in charge of this golf course. We went to a different course where they have adults running it and we were able to play and have a nice morning out. Will not be back and will tell people not to play here.
Terrible course
Ground rock hard, barely any grass on fairways, at times u tee off from a mat, yard markers aren't correct. This is the second worst course I've ever played.
