Brentwood Golf Club
About
Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton may not look like much at first but as one of the best values in the area, it has become a local favorite. It's a short course at 5,148 yards from the back tees, making it an excellent layout for beginners especially since there is very little sand and hardly any water. Long hitters may be disappointed at the lack of long par 4s and par 5s but more advanced players will find that it's great for a quick, casual round. It's a gentle golf course that any player can tackle with confidence but the subtly tricky greens provide some challenges. The approaches require a bit of strategy and accuracy doesn't hurt either though it's a very forgiving layout. Brentwood Golf Club's greens are also known for being in consistently good condition.

Fast Play. Short, Easy course. Inexpensive.
Tee boxes are not well kept. Greens were below average but not the worst for July play considering how dry it is. Not very challenging but for a hot deal it’s worth it.
Nice course
Holes were challenging enough. Could use some better signage to help direct you to the next tee. Fairways were a little rough, but that was to be expected. Greens were in good shape.
Bad experience
We showed up before our tee time and checked in, there was no starter, no one outside, it appeared the only two employees there were the girls working at the counter inside. This became a problem because everyone was starting from the first hole and there were around six different groups waiting to tee off in addition to the group actually taking their shots and the other group on the green putting. Apparently tee times mean nothing here and you can just walk up and get in front of people who actually scheduled to play. Because I did not want to wait two hours to tee off and then take four hours to play nine holes I went inside to cancel and get my refund. They said that they could not refund me the money right away in the club house and that it would have to be later in the week, well I still haven’t gotten my refund or heard from the golf course. I have seen children run lemonade stands better than whoever is in charge of this golf course. We went to a different course where they have adults running it and we were able to play and have a nice morning out. Will not be back and will tell people not to play here.
Terrible course
Ground rock hard, barely any grass on fairways, at times u tee off from a mat, yard markers aren't correct. This is the second worst course I've ever played.
Nice course for the price
First time playing here will definitely come back..interesting layout..good place for just abt anyone from beginners to competitive!
Not bad but cheap
Cheap course to go cheap beer prices as well. But the rough is barely ever mowed and the greens don’t have much movement or pace. More of a place for beginners or if you wanna get hammered and play
Cheap
Plated 18 for $18. Course is short and in fair condition. Good for a quick round on weekdays. Played 18 in 2 1/2 hours.
Brentwood .....still has a lot of wood!
This day, I & buddy played 18 in about 2.5hrs, so we both played well despite the soft conditions (grounds wet after nightly rains). Greens a bit on the slow side, but we both had many 1putts due to good close chips. There are a few screwy holes --#11,13,14,--and more than a few trees need to be trimmed (tee shoots like in a cave), or removed completely (17 in particular). Old bridges have been replaced (working on last one #11 today), so they continue to keep the course playable for all ages. Brentwood has quite a few leagues and ideal for us old folks or relative novice players. The other Plus, Brentwood can be good for your hdcp ..... I shot even Par!
Good value, beginner course
Course is very short. All holes are fairly straightforward. Drive straight, good iron and you can be putting for birdie on most holes. Good course for beginners or children.
