About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

Precision Necessary
The course has some wide open holes, but it has plenty of trouble on others if you spray the ball. The greens can be tough to read, and they have plenty of undulation. If you hit a long ball, the course could be short, if you the ball in the right spot. Overall, a fun course that challenge your game.
Great hidden gem
Short course that will challenge you to use evey club in your bag. The greens were ture and fast. Best maintained ourselves I have played years. The rough was thick with grab your club with ne weeds. I have book my second round already.
Fun golf day
This is a fun short open course. I played on a Hot Deal in early afternoon. Play was backed up by a slooow foursome that would not let any of the 5 single or doubles behind them play through. I finally skipped ahead to the hole in front of them and it was smooth sailing from there.
Tee boxes are great. Fairways look good and rough is fairly low. The greens are growing in. Greens are tough with lots of slope.
Staff is great and I enjoyed playing here and will be back.
What a beautiful course
Weather was cold but SIL and I decided to ho go for 18. Price was very reasonable and it turned into a cool nice day. When we started, we were the only people on the course. For this time of year the course was in very good shape. Tee boxes were great.
This is a short course and you will hit a lot of wedges but the greens have a lot of slope to them and are tough to putt if you misread the green. Speed is the key.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

The weather conditions were not ideal but potters is always a super fun course.
great bang for the buck
course has been bought by the city and they just dumped a good amount of coin into the sand traps and drainage on hole 4
great shape they seeded the greens on the day we played so it made it a little tricky to guess the speed because the greens were different speeds
overall really good course i got it for like 23 out the door on the hot deals
Fun course
Great course tucked away in Hamilton. Friendly people and well taken care of. Challenging and fun.
