Downhill
New owners not maintaining course. Plus clientele has changed “wife beaters” and “jorts” sited on course Saturday, more than 1.
Shame used to be very nice.
Gone Downhill
New owners are cutting corners. Course is in bad shape. Shame because it used to be one of the best in NE Ohio. The Ohio Amateur championships have been played here in the past.
Hope it gets better and returns to how it once was.
Nice course. But not for $$
Course was nice. Great layout. Greens rolled great. Only knock would be the debris all over the greens and fairways. Visually it took away from course. Clubhouse house was disappointing. No apparel for purchase. Friendly staff. Newly renovated bar area. Would play again but not at $55. I think iit was a little pricey for this course. Overall though i liked the course.

Worth the money, lots of hills.!
Challenge yourself
Average for the money
Didn’t know we were placed right behind a league until we made the turn. Took us 3 hours to play the back 9 all jammed up with nowhere to go. Also for the money there are 4 other courses within 12 miles in better condition. Won’t be back this year, maybe give it a go next year.
SCAGA Event caused problems.
We had a 2:00 weekday tee time for a two-some. We flew thru the front 9, but ran into a 6-some on the back. The 6-some would not let us play thru, claiming they were part of a SCAGA event. Pro shop tried to help, but these old-timers wouldn’t budge. Boooo SCAGA! The golf course made it right by giving us a 9 hole rain check.
Challenging track
Beautiful, natural golf course on a great piece of property. Major tree removal is needed, but the shot value is here for a scratch or a hack. I’ll play this course again…
On the rise!
Played here a handful of times over the last couple years, and each year it seems to get better. New ownership has put money into the place and it is becoming a very nice place to play. Reasonable rates, good condition, greens roll nice and not slow. I didnt give 5 stars because there's room for improvement.
Great Course
Tees & Fairways: Both were in a good shape, only complaint would be some of the par 3 tee boxes are narrow an sloped on the sides so it can result it a ball below your feet or above depending on if you[re a righty or lefty. Unless you want to tee it up where all the divots have been filled with sand
Greens: We're in great shape, a little on the slower side but would assume that is cause of the rain they got a few days prior an not being able to get on them
This was my first time playing an overall the course was in good shape. Tight fairways make it a must to hit it straight off the tee. Couple ponds around the course to take note of off the tee. Enjoyed my round here an look forward to getting back out
This place needs a website
The course is all around great. It is a little pricier than most courses in the area but is really nice. Only downside is they have yet to discover the interwebs and online tee times.
Hidden Gem
I had not made the trip down to this course in many years, and that was foolish. The course is still in fantastic shape, though I was surprised how wet it was. There are a few hidden lakes, but for the most part the course is straightforward. Also, even with little roll, the course does not play as long as the yardage suggests. a great layout with perfect greens that winds it's way through old trees. Some of the sand traps were not in the greatest shape, but there were actually quite a few that were being worked on and new sand added as we played. So they have an army of a grounds crew that stays on top of it.
Maybe they could thin out a few of the trees? If your tee shot doesn't find the fairway, you will make bogey, punching out is the only option.
Awesome
This course is truly a gem. Always in great shape no matter what time of year you play. Can't beat the value. Greens roll true. Fairways in great shape. I play this course as much as possible. Staff is awesome. If you have never played here I highly recommend you book a tee time.
Great course
Seven Hills continues to be an outstanding layout. It is always in great shape and there is a variety of holes to test all skill levels. Good selection of ties for all levels of golfers. One of the best values in N.E. Ohio
