Upgraded
This course is in really good shape compared to a few years ago. Still some CIVID restrictions but the staff was excellent. Worth it if you're in the area.
Big Improvements
All is good on the course and management, but bring back the ball washers.
Finally back at golf
First time playing this course. 50 degrees and 30 mph wind didn't help. Course has potential. Greens rolled well. Close to home and good value for a quick 9. Will play again in better weather
Blue Sky Golf day
Twosome, one walker and one cart, played 9 holes in 1.5 hours. This is sometimes a very challenging course. Very good condition today. Staff very helpful and friendly. Parking and carts very accessible. No ball washers.
Basic muni course that has a simple layout with some interesting holes. Play here all the time. Great prices, fun and usually good pace of play. It’s a great course for what it is.
Highland Park Red
Course conditions have greatly improved. Real value for money.
Great shape
The course is in great shape. Greens very nice. Beautiful day to play. Second 9 the wind picked up and temperature dropped 20 degrees, but still great. When trees are green it will really be beautiful. I’ll be back played the red course.
First time playing this course
I was hesitant to play this course due to the poor ratings in GolfNow. From what I gathered, the course is improving from previous years. I spoke to the manager on the way out and she told me the course is now operated by the City of Cleveland. For sure the course needs work, several potholes in the fairways and Tee boxes need attention. It would really help if the players would repair their ball marks on the greens plus one. I noted that a twosome in front of me drove very close to the greens. The course needs to put better demarcations of cart direction as the blue course lacks consistency in cart paths. The course would benefit with divot repair jugs in the carts. This course has a beautiful look and a ton of potential. Golfers need to show better etiquette to help the course mend. I will play this course in the summer to see if the City is really invested in making this a top notch course. The manager seemed very enthusiastic in the direction it is going.
Nice
I played this course when the city ran it, it was a pasture. The difference with the new ownership is night and day. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Welcome change..
