Pitman Golf Course

great course love the carts sceen twlls you b where you are on the course and distance and hole difficulties.

I’ve played Pitman at least a dozen times. It’s not a very long course and some of the holes are a little quirky, but overall it’s a fun layout and for the price I think it’s one of the better courses in that area. But this last time - the conditions totally ruined the experience. Granted it had rained the day before so it was a little wet, but they were running carts in the fairways so it was dry enough. We played the front 9 and just yikes. Fairways were decent for the most part, but had some noticeable dirt patches and stress, rough was pretty thick and lush, but the greens .. man were they bad. A majority of them had HUGE dead spots and more that you could see popping up. They had one temporary green (Hole 5) and one that should have been a temporary green (Hole 8) because the green was soaked and very much dead. I really hope they can get this course back into the condition that it has been in the past because it is a fun track, but I will not be back for the rest of the season.

Pitman has really improved recently and it’s a great local course.

My review's lower score for maintenance takes into consideration this time of year is tough on greens (heat, humidity and consequent fungus problems). The greens were a bit shaggy....Amenities consisted of buying a beer from the cart girl. They did have a nice cold Guinness for me though, and on a hot, a bit sweaty, day that was just the ticket. Nice course some cool holes - the par 3's can mess with your head...I'm looking forward to my next game there.

First and foremost, Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Pace of play my last 2 times out here has been less than 4 hours. Carts are fantastic with GPS. Greens are a little slow at the moment but we’re just airated last week. Course has small dry areas but overall in really good shape... I will golf here more often!!

Greens in rough shape due to aeration .maybe next time I will remind myself to ask club house. Not worth the price when greens in that shape. Otherwise the course can be challenging. Enjoyed day otherwise

Nice course for the money. Greens in pretty good shape hot August fairways and tee boxes not bad. Like the layout

Been playing lots of golf, and Pitman is in really good shape, especially compared to other courses in the South Jersey area. I was especially impressed by the condition of the bunkers - fantastic !

Surprised to see an Officer as the starter...interesting! Course is in good shape, greens were fair. The only negative aspect about this course is the fact that there are a lot of ground wasps around the course!
