Great off season track
Raccoon Hill as always comes through in the winter months in Northern Ohio. We had a snow storm 10 days ago and the course and greens were in great shape. Kudos to the staff. Great day.
Getting better
This course at the beginning of the year was pretty hammered, they’re currently doing a lot of necessary repairs, I look forward to conditions next year
nothing special, but can be fun to play
played this course a handful of times. The staff is very nice however, that doesn’t make up for the course. conditions are not in a good place right now. virtually no fairways visible, some tee boxes are just sand, and bunkers pretty much mud. The front nine is a better layout as once you get to the back nine you’re going to see a couple holes that you just don’t see anywhere else. Par 5 13th has 2 90° turns in the fairway and is pretty much covered by trees. leaves filled the green and made it very difficult to putt. personally i think this is a course to go play nine on and have fun with buddies. it’s not like the other courses in the area.

Great place to play ....Anytime of the year! Always soothed by the sound of the trains passing nearby. Just a cool little addition to a great course !
Raccoon hill
Nice course with some unique and challenging layouts. The greens and tee boxes need a lot of love and the bunkers need a little love

There was a 9 hole league on the front nine , extremely slow play. Back nine played in 11/2 hours. Much better . Most greens were good . Some tee boxes were on a crown , not level. Overall it was ok

Staff was very friendly. Course was wide open . Played 18 holes in less than 2 1/2 hours . Would definitely play it again and recommend it my friends
The front 9 is the only part worth it, but it's still not great
This course has terrible drainage all around but also doesn't do much in terms of course maintenance. I've played here a few times because it's cheaper but honestly, spend that extra 10 bucks and play 18 somewhere else. The back 9 is terrible to play. Conditions are bad on most holes and the putting greens are muddy and oftentimes appear to have been driven over by a jeep.
Terrible condition
I guess if you get this on a hot deal it’s worth it if you live close. Even then it wouldn’t be my first choice. The tee boxes are lumpy and full of sand and dirt. The fairway is indistinguishable from the rough and there are clumps of grass missing everywhere you look, and the grass that is there look more like weeds than actual grass. The ground is so hard they must not have watered yet this month (it’s the 25th). Imagine playing on a lumpy sheet of glass and that’s exactly what it’s like to play here. I did hit a tee shot with my 6 iron over 220 yards as it rolled on the hard lumpy ground like a hybrid golf/plinko game. How this place is even in business is incredible. How it doesn’t have a lower review score is equally as crazy.
My go to course
Good affordable course. Only about 30% cart paths, terminal boxes could use some work. Pace is good. Staff is friendly.
Well maintained, fast greens!
Solid value and done challenging layouts despite the short lengths!
Good value. Friendly staff.
I’ve been coming to this course for years. It’s always a fun time, well taken care of for how busy it is. Never a complaint from me.
Good value!
I had a good time playing here. Course conditions can be sub-par during hot and wet summer time, but you get what you pay for.. still good value for the price.
