Slow play, fair course conditions
Slow play. The 2 foursomes in front of us were essentially playing together. Backed up on every hole. No cart dividers, if you want to ride alone you’re charged for both seats, didn’t see hand sanitizer anywhere. Wouldn’t let me pay via golfnow app. Course conditions were fair at best, won’t rush back. Food was by far the part of the experience.
No Bang for the buck
2 people for $60+ for 18 holes was just not worth it here. Course conditions were very poor. Will be spending my money on the courses in area that are much more well kept for much cheaper.
StillA Gem
Great place to have FUN! Beautiful surroundings! Excellent staff and amenities. Sneak away and play during the week!!!
Always fun
Started slow but the pace picked up. The staff is really friendly. The course is challenging but not extremely hard. I always like playing here. I will definitely be back!
Racoon Hills was a pleasant surprise
This was my first time playing at Racoon Hills. However, I was pleasantly surprised. First, I will say that I had a bad day of golf, probably one of my worse in quite some time. And while the weather was perfect, the ground was still wet from rain a few days before and there were spots that left me with muddy, albeit waterproof shoes.
Nonetheless, i still enjoyed the course. It surprised me with the variety of blind shots, especially since I was new to the course and did not review the sheet before playing it. My favorite hole was hole number 7, a par 4 with a lake between the tees (I played blue) and 240 years to clear the water or two shots to the green via a dog-legged left. I landed on the green in shot 1 and barely birdied the hole-my only one for the day. In general I'm an average player, with a few lucky shots.
The staff were nice even as they wore their masks. A young lady cooked me and a buddy a hot dogs each and 6 beers. The hot-dogs were so good we went back for another round.
I would like to go back to try Raccoon Hill on a drier day and in the absence of Covid-19. I noticed a variety of players towards mid-day and early afternoon arriving, both old (clearly in their late 60s to mid-70s and young (college age and just out of college).. It was pleasure to see.
A very challenging course only downfall a lot of muudy patches and they need to work on the cart path
Tale of 2 courses
Great track in NEO. Front 9 is nice and open..... Back 9 definitely requires some shot making. Not my first time here..... won’t be my last
Great course
I played this.course in high school against streetsboro but it was nice just to be able to come out and play for fun and not be competitive.
Covid-19
It didn’t look to me that the carts were cleaned and sanitized before use. I would recommend bringing Clorox wipes if you play here. If it wasn’t for these times I wouldn’t have a complaint.
Always a great time at Raccoon!
Received significant rain so had to walk but course was still playable although some of the sand traps were water hazards. I'm glad golf carts were not available as they most definitely would have damaged the course. Staff is always friendly and helpful, even in these unusual times.
Great course.
The staff was great and explained to us about the whole Covid19 rules and regulations that are in place.
The greens were beautiful! Nice and smooth. Medium speed.
The fairways are coming along a few wet spots but with all the rain it is expected. Overall. The front side is easier than the back. A lot of dog legs.
Fun!!
It's a shorter course even from the gold. The fairways could've been in better shape. The greens rolled nice and true. The back nine is where the fun begins, a few dog legs and a double dog leg par 5 that you must be strategic off the tee. Will play again.
Fall golf
Course was in pretty decent condition for this time of the year. The staff here is great!
Nice course, good value
Course in decent shape....greens very good to putt on. Good pace of play. Players seem to move along pretty well here with no problems most times that I've played.
