About
Fox Hollow Golf Course in Somerville sprawls across acres of rolling woodlands, offering dramatic elevation changes throughout the par-70 layout. Designed by local designer Hal Purdy, the abundant trees and hilly terrain have been deftly incorporated into the course. Originally built in 1967, the golf course was completely redesigned in 2000 to make it more challenging while at the same time improving its playability. Since its renovation, it has garnered a local following but it is still one of the better kept secrets of Somerset County, making it likely that golfers will be able to play the golf course regardless of the day or time. In addition to the course, there is also a practice facility with a grass driving range, a bunkered practice green, and an expansive putting green. One reason Fox Hollow G.C. is a popular choice, besides the enjoyable layout, is the affordability it offers.

Paddy day fun
As always the course was in excellent condition. The st Patrick's day menu was great. Staff is great. This place is we maintained and professionally staffed. Hats off to the chef always great food. .
Fox Hollow Golf Club
The only course I've ever been to that I'd come back just to chat with the starter "Dave." Beautiful course with rolling hills and a few very challenging holes. Players need to be accurate as many fairways roll left to right and off steep embankments to never find your ball again. Greens are very fast! Nice finish on 18 over water to land on the green which butts up to the clubhouse. About 160 yards from the white tees. As Schwarzenegger says, "I'll Be Back."
Cart path only but course dried up nicely and was very playable. Fairways and greens in great shape for this time of the year.

Had a bunch of course was great!
Green rolled pretty well. Course was in great condition considering it is the middle of winter. Bunkers were a little bare but otherwise rough and fairways were in great condition!
Course was closed but
We arrived not knowing the course was closed. Spoke with Evan the manager and because the conditions had improved he allowed us out. I can only say this is a must play course!! Conditions were amazing and having a course to ourselves was a once and a lifetime event. We did walk and I want to be clear this is not a walking course. Please make Fox Hollow a stop on your 2024 golf adventure!!!
ProShop is kind, but Ranger followed the players like a hunter, monitoring and screaming.
Worth the drive
I drive 45 minutes to this course however the staff is very friendly and helpful, the course is a great layout challenging but fair. I highly recommend it!
Excellent design and very well maintained. Greens were beautiful and the rest of the course
Is wonderful. Views add to the experience. Staff was welcoming and they have a very nice clubhouse, but I think they are missing an opportunity w/food & beverage. It’s only open part time and a better F&B service would complete the outing. Really loved the course.

Played Fox Hollow this past Saturday! Just wanted to share how wonderful the staff was and the great shape of the golf course ⛳️ ! I would play here anytime. Evan and the staff at the bar are the best 👌🏾! Very good indoor/outdoor area for your 19th hole activities.

The course is always challenging and in great shape. Greens run true. Management has been accommodating and easy to work with regarding outings. Staff always friendly. Always recommend the course and can't wait to come back.
