Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

Wedgewood
Rain the area night before so course was extremely wet did not appear to drain well. Car paths need some attention, overall just an average course. We thought it was a bit over priced, expected more for the price
Long and straight
Great course for fall golf. Not overly crowded and course has had time to repair. If you hit your drives long and straight it will be very easy to get par and most of the par 5s are reachable in two. It's has some very good holes you need to think where to put your shots.
Fun coarse
Played this course many times. 8:07 tee time, finally teed off at 8;30. Had to wait on every shot almost. Pace of play was slow.
Excellent staff!!
Excellent staff!! Clean facilities but could use some upgrading. Course was in very good condition but they were aerating a fareway while we were trying to play the hole, new to golf so not sure if this is common.
course is nice
course in good shape tough on some par 3s also hole 13 a challenge priced right on golf now will play again
Golf
On golf now they said you get a lunch special and 18 holes for 45$. We figured that was fine, so after 9 we go in to eat and all they had was hotdogs and you only got one. We were really disappointed with that.
Just as lousy as Beckett
Just an overpriced Beckett in my opinion, big surprise, the same owner. Fairways like a chip and putt course. Real disappointment. Heard good reviews, they must have been posted by the owners.. Won't play again or reccommend to anyone. Far too many nicer courses out there, and cheaper.
run by a bunch of snobs
the most unfriendly staff i have ever encountered. someone should remind them that this is not a private club and they should treat the public with respect.
A fun and challenging course
This course has a great layout of holes with varying and legitimate golf challenges through water features, slope, pin placement, etc. the staff is friendly and the course is in nice shape although it appears to have water issues and there are 4 or 5 holes that are always cart path only. The one negative about this course is the condition of some bunkers. Some of them are way too firm making blast shots impossible green side. Overall this is one of my favorite public courses in south jersey.
T'swere in very poor shape putting grounds terrible
Not worth the money to golf there better courses in the area to golf at probably won't golf there again until the course is corrected this course was in bad shape painted damages all over the place
Feel good on front but brace for back
This is a nice course with a fairly open front 9 and a tighter back. The transition works nicely if you need a few holes to get your game warmed up.
Wedge wood
Excellent course. Almost empty in early afternoon.
In very good condition, although the greens were very soft.
Negatives: too many divots on tees, fairways and ball marks on greens. I spread half a ton of dirt mix as I was driving around.
Bunkers also were in need of upkeep, more sand
Bang for your buck!
The greens were very well kept. It's definitely a decent place to play.
Very good experience
Great experience . Nice course. Everything in good shape and some exciting holes.
Wedgwood in the Morning
We played a foursome at 7:22 AM. No one ahead of us for a couple of holes, a threesome behind caught us at 17! A really nice course to play, a little of every-thing, some narrow fairways, some extra wide, generous rolling greens, long par 3's and one tricky water hole.
We'll play again for sure!
No-brainer
Good course. Nothing incredibly special but always in good shape and it's just a friendly little well-maintained course.
Mixed feelings
As the title of my review indicates, I have mixed feelings about this course. Fairways and greens were cut beautifully, but the problem lies in the golfers who are playing this course. No one repairs a ball mark on the greens and no one replaces divots in the fairway or takes advantage of the sand/seed mix that is on every cart. result was the course could have been in much better condition. I also have an issue with the cart rules. This was an extremely hot day and carts were restricted to the cart paths on many holes, not just the par 3's. And the cart paths are often 40 yards or more from the tees and greens. It means a lot of extra walking especially for a senior citizen on such a hot day.
First time visit
I always worry about the condition when playing on a course I/we find. We were pleasantly surprised at the conditions. Fast play even faster greens. Would definitely play here again.
