Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

not great condition, including the trash can Photo submitted by Michael8613535 on 10/09/2013
No-brainer
Good course. Nothing incredibly special but always in good shape and it's just a friendly little well-maintained course.
Mixed feelings
As the title of my review indicates, I have mixed feelings about this course. Fairways and greens were cut beautifully, but the problem lies in the golfers who are playing this course. No one repairs a ball mark on the greens and no one replaces divots in the fairway or takes advantage of the sand/seed mix that is on every cart. result was the course could have been in much better condition. I also have an issue with the cart rules. This was an extremely hot day and carts were restricted to the cart paths on many holes, not just the par 3's. And the cart paths are often 40 yards or more from the tees and greens. It means a lot of extra walking especially for a senior citizen on such a hot day.
First time visit
I always worry about the condition when playing on a course I/we find. We were pleasantly surprised at the conditions. Fast play even faster greens. Would definitely play here again.
Good Day at Wedgwood
Perfect weather and a good day at Wedgwood. Course was in very nice shape for the most part. A couple of the greens were starting to turn.
We will go back there soon
Very nice course
Early tee time, no waiting and no one rushing our group. Very good condition, greens in excellent shape.
Fantastic Course
What a beautiful course. The grounds were well maintained and the pace was great. I highly recommend this course.
great value
Stay in the fairways if you want to score. You'll be in trouble in the deep rough. Course conditions were excellent. Greens were running true. Tee boxes and greens in good condition. A fun round of golf with perfect strangers.
GREAT COURSE
THIS COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND WE ENJOYED OUR ROUND.
Some really good holes
Wedgwood is a good course to play but I would not make a special long drive to do so. It is a little over priced. There are a couple really nice holes, #3, #12, #17 in particular. Conditions overall in this late spring were good though there were areas of some of the greens that you could see get stressed in the hot weather. Housing is along the left side of nearly every hole (none on the right side), but most are protected by old trees.
Nice challenginf course
Great course, great condition, tough course. Not much food or beverages offering.
Well maintained, no noteworthy holes
Played on Sunday at 7:30, pace of play was great, but it was early. The course is very well maintained with perfect greens, but the design is a bit boring. Some holes just seem like a green at the end of a large field that happens to have a fairway in it. Profoundly boring 18th hole. No driving range.
Challenging
I paid 30 bucks from GolfNow.com and the course is pretty challenging on every single hole.
Great Course
I can def recommend this course. I will be playing here again soon.
Staff unfriendly
This is a local corse that I try to stay away from because of the staff. The one owner tried to search our bags to make sure we were not trying to bring anything on the course.
The greens are fast and roll well.
The course is in really good shape. The greens are in good condition, are fast and roll well. At this time of year leaves present a problem if you are off the fairway at Wedgwood although it does appear they are attempting to clear them.
I like the course , it's challenging .
Enjoyed the round & had a great time with friends !!
No par 3's under 165. Lots of trouble and water throughout, The back is real tight and you better know where to lay up.
This time of year we are lucky to get out. It has come back nicely from the 100 degrees this summer. A little more attention to the leaf rule..I lost a number of balls that were not hit badly near the green. Played 17 and 18 into the sun.
A diamond in the rough.
Ouch, what a disappointment
I figured that the fall would bring lush grass and weekday play would be easy. For $20 on a Tuesday, with cart, it was about $10 to much.
The course is in bad shape, the fairways are bare and barely there, the rough is mostly weeds. The good side is the greens were nice.
This could be a nice course, it someone took care of the grounds and equipment. Included are 2 pictures
