About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

One of the Best Value Courses in Columbus
I’ll set the scene, it’s a gorgeous September day in Columbus. It also happens to be a Sunday, probably should be one of the busiest golf days of the year. Now, I had never been to Marysville GC before… first impressions were rather bleak. The parking lot is battered and riddled with potholes; the clubhouse isn’t much better either.
I went inside to check-in, staff were very helpful and had us on our way almost immediately.
The course itself is really where this place shines. It just has this vibe to it, almost like a place where golf is meant to be played. It is in really phenomenal shape considering the price point. Greens are like rocks, they will not hold anything. They aren’t fast but in INCREDIBLE shape considering the price. The tee boxes aren’t in bad shape either, they are rather long but not many divots. The fairways are in great shape as well, almost no divots.
The pace of play was FANTASTIC. We finished nine in one hour and ten minutes. There was almost no one around us. I remind you, this was on a Sunday, mid-day, in the middle of September with blue skies.
The cart paths are all gravel throughout the course. The carts themselves are rather speedy. Not all that new but not in horrible shape.
I can just say without a doubt this course is just a vibe. It’s a let loose, have fun and just play golf kinda course. This place is how golf is meant to be played.

The improvements are coming along nicely. First time I played here three years ago, the tee boxes were next to useless, now they're immaculate. Keep it up, Marysville!

Not what it used to be!
Haven't played here in a few years and it has not been kept up. The tees looked like my lawn, the bunkers are either grown over or have hard sand, and the greens are not repaired after ball marks.

Nice country course
This course was in good shape for the price point and location. Pace of play was good we played a foursome in 4 hours. I would definitely play here again.

Great shape .. great value
First time playing this course, was very happy with driving 50 min... some of the tee boxes were a little in need of maintenance, but fairways and greens were perfect every hole

Fast pace of play
I played on a Monday afternoon and I believe I played in 2 hours! Course was OK...bunkers could use a lot of maintenance. Some have not been raked or filled in forever. Greens and fairways in pretty good shape.

Abysmal Play
The course was an absolute swamp. Large portions underwater due to a significant storm. The night before never should’ve been opened and we should’ve been advised to search. Golf carts were in very poor shape, and had not been wiped down-all the golf carts were full of water no towels provided. How do use paper towels from the men’s room. Play was extremely slow. They had overbooked it – and the staff on the course admitted they should’ve opened, but they did not want to forgo the revenue. A terrible experience.
