Rough shape
Course has deteriorated recently. They put new sand in a bunch of bunkers this year. Those same bunkers are full of rocks and many have weeds growing in them (1’-2’ high). Tee boxes are a mess. I doubt they have moved the tees in weeks. Greens are glacially slow. Real shame for what they charge.
Nice course
Fast round on a Hot scorching day 95*. Staff always friendly. Course fairways and greens in good shape .
Will be back
Great course
Great course that I always find to shoot very well on. For a player like me who usually shoots in the 90s this course is very friendly and open. Even if you slice like I do sometimes the ball is usually in play. Course is in great shape too and pin placement can sometimes be brutal. Great Course would highly recommend!
Slow pace of play
I think the course rangers could have speed up the course of play which slowed us down where we were unable to complete the last 2 holes.
Fairways and greens were in good shape; bunkers were not. Pace of play was a bit slow. No starter or ranger on duty.
Pace of play and green speed not acceptable
Cranbury was cheap, but very disappointed by the very slow greens and pace of play. Took 5;10 to play and we tees off 15 minutes late because of an outing in the morning.
Very annoyed at hole 17 bunker…was right on the lip after I flubbed sand shot (my fault). There was a foot long grass not trimmed that went right over the bunker that made the shot close to impossible. Also people don’t take the sand at the course.
Broke 90
Shot my first 86! Great driving range for a quick warm up. Not the most challenging course but great day
Rain out
We were rained out on the fourth but had a great round of 18 on the fifth
Great tight layout
We love this course. On July 4th my son broke 80 for the first time. Shot even par on the back 9 with only 11 putts! The greens are in amazing condition!
Six par 3’s and five par 5’s make this a unique layout. All the greens are sloped back to front and are SMALL. few holes share tee boxes, most all greens are located close to the next tee box. Old school design.
Love the par 3 2nd hole which plays next to a corn field and a row of tall pine trees. Small green with 2 bunkers on both sides of the front of the green.
I always enjoy this track. Great for golfers of all skill levels
I decided to enjoy my last day off of 4th of July vacation to go back to an old haunt and I have to say, I can't wait to go back and attack the course again. it is in excellent condition despite the sweltering heat recently.
Feedback for the course... get water out on the course. The cart girl went by frequently, but I was in dire need of hydration a couple of times. Also, it seems that the 100 and 150, and 200-yard markers I remember are no longer there on many holes. It would be great for an old-time walker like me to have something there to indicate distance.
Other than these two items, the course was in great shape, very lush, and well-manicured. The greens were consistent and very smooth. Staff was super friendly and the experience over all was a 10 out of 10.
