Course is in good shape
For this time of year - greens and fairways are in good shape. The Tee Boxes are not. (Whites).
For a hot deal - you can't beat it!
Tee boxes
The tee boxes need help big time. Seed n water. You will be amazed at what it will do.
Great public course
As a MercerCounty resident with four great courses to play, I always felt one of the next best public courses in the county was Cranbury. Great course for the money - interesting layout with five par 3’s and four 5’s.. Decent conditions -tricky greens, but they just can’t seem to ever grow grass on the 12th tee due to the lack of sun, so they might as well just lay down AstroTurf and be done with it. The $5 Long Island Iced Tea, one of the best I’ve ever had, from the BogBar off the side of the 18th green was a perfect ending to the round.

I was partnered up with 3 local golfers. Friendly conversation and good manners .
course was in decent shape. But the pace of play was painfully slow,
great value
Course was in great shape and the price was right. Only negative comment is the pace of play - late afternoon round and it was glacially slow. No rangers to keep people moving. We literally finished in the dark.
uncontrolled pace
we started at 3.30 PM. there was a group of 4 and have 2 bags and were no sportsmanship. i complained to the incharge in club house, he directed me to the starter. i told starter but they did not do anything. we could only finish 16 holes in >5 hours.
there was no ranger keeping time or telling players to keep the pace. after completion, i told the management again and he said " when this happens, again call me". they are supposed to keep order on the course, they are not supposed to be on call, they should be there to manage and not just taking attendance at t-time
Great day bad golf
Golf Now deleted my reservation so not a good start... Didn’t get too much better but that was on me.
Very Satisfied
This was my first time playing and our foursome really enjoyed ourselves. I don’t think you can find a better value for your buck. The course is forgiving yet challenging. If your tee shots are left or right, you’ll find your ball and have a second shot. The layout is great with the additional par 3’s and 5’s.. I would definitely recommend to the average golfer who looking to have a nice day!
