A Must Play
Course was in great shape, greens were receptive to approach shots, rolled great. It had rained the night before and a little through the round which probably slowed them down a little. I can see them being really quick under drier conditions. Staff were very friendly. Will defiantly play it again next time I'm in the area. Only thing I would say that could be better are the bunkers, they could use a slight upgrade.
Beautiful course and conditions, just slow
Very nice course and layout, interesting path to have a centered snack shack (and clean, air conditioned bathrooms) accessible while playing 4 of the holes. Two practice greens for both putting and another for chipping, sand practice and putting.
Was an unfortunate pace of play. We were a threesome behind two slow foursomes with a twosome behind us. It took 4:20 to play and we continually felt in a rush. I guess it’s the cost of a nice course, but it sucked some of the enjoyment of the day.
Great Course
I routinely play at several courses in southern New Jersey, and Pinelands is my favorite. The course is well-maintained and is challenging but very playable. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Players hitting into my kid and I multiple times - Staff did address.
Played here with my 9 year old. Group behind us hit into us multiple times on multiple holes to the point where I had to call the pro shop and ask that they send a ranger out. The course can't control this, I'm sure it happens in a lot of public courses. The staff did ride out and have a talk with the group, and then followed up later in the round with me - which is about all you can hope for, so kudos to them for that. There is firing range next store so while its a small thing, there is the sound of gun shots and small explosions going off throughout the round most days. Course was really nice and in great condition. Snack stand is awesome. Nice bar and restaurant too. If you catch it for a twilight round, it can't be beat in the area in my opinion for that price. For normal pricing, its fair for what it is.
Nice Course!!
First time playing since new ownership. They turned a dog track into a top notch course. Reasonable rates. Pace of play ok. Challenging course with tough tiered greens. 19th hole outstanding!! Great food and beverages. Definitely recommend.
Great Course
Beautiful conditions
Great layout
Professional Rangers
Nice driving range
Staff and tee time organization fantastic
Even with the hot and sunny conditions, enough shade and breeze made for a comfortable round,
As a single player, I've found the golfer's I've been paired with have been great.
nice practice areas, with driving range, short chipping and putting green.
Pinelands Prevails
This course recently sold, is attempting to become one of the premier daily fee courses in the area. The amount of $$ put into the course and off course amenities is top notch.
Only hope that they do not raise the tariff to play so much that it becomes unaffordable.
Overpriced for the condition
I tried this course out after seeing the good reviews but have to say that it is very overpriced for the condition. The fairways and rough are very spotty. Th greens on the course are a lot faster than the practice putting. There are pine trees along both sides of every fairway so if you don’t hit it straight you are fighting for bogey or double bogey. Friendly staff and nice bar/restaurant area.
Beautiful course
Love this course but there was no ranger managing the group in front of us . They had 4 in their group and we were a twosome and they never offered us to play through!
New And Improved
Impressive makeover. Can hardly wait for the new clubhouse and restaurant MelC
Since selling standards dropped
Since the golf course was sold standards significantly dropped resulting in slower greens and a ton of dirt areas on fairways. Disappointing experience to say the least.
