Superintendent attitude
Superintendent has a napolean complex. On hole 5 while waiting for 4 older guys to tee off on hole 6. Been waiting on everyhole so we tee’d off a few extra balls on hole 5 and Napolean got an attitude with us about hittong a few extra balls. Told us we can leave the course but didn’t have the you know what to come over and tell us he had to radio in to someone else. We went back to the clubhouse and Napolean was no where to be found to discuss the reason why he kicked us off. Its ashame they employee this guy who has no people skills. Feel sorry for the employees who have to work with him.
THIS COURSE DESPERATELY NEEDS ALL GOLFERS TO REPLACE THEIR DIVOTS AND FIX ALL BALL MARKS
GOLFERS SHOULD HAVE DIRT/ SEED AVAILABLE ON EVERY CART
Mike
Great day golfing, course was in decent shape however no ranger to keep golfers moving. Group in front of us had an open hole in front of them and didnt let us play through.
Good time
While it’s more expensive now the cart paths are smooth like butter and tee boxes are stellar. Staff is super and friendly. Our round took just at 4 hours which helped me keep loose. Had to get bags of ice at the snack bar since it was a million degrees out.
Shot my best round ever. Will definitely come back!
Ventnor Mike
Course was in pretty good shape for the heat we have had. Foursome in front of us were slow and no ranger to speak to or speed them up. Really good course for reasonable price!
Great value and very nice public course
Enjoy playing here as the course is in great shape and the fees are reasonable
Trending Downward
Played there not too often in the past but don't remember it being in this condition before. Crabgrass, unkempt rough, weeds and unfilled divots everywhere. This in addition to the normal wear and tear that steady play and the weather takes this time of year. I understand that there are new owners as of about a month ago. The course looks like it has been neglected even longer. During our entire round, we only noted three or so workers on the course.
Great day for golf
My wife and I found this course during Covid. Outdoor activity became the thing to do during those years. With all the renovations that they have put into that course, it is one of the top courses that we get to play. It’s about an hour from where I live, but it’s worth the trip. We really are enjoying playing Pinelands.
Pretty Course
First time. Straightforward layout with lots of trees (Pinelands!). Great clubhouse/restaurant; did not try the food but staff was all very friendly. I heard that it’s under new ownership and a lot has been invested into the course. Would def play again and look forward to more improvements being made to the course.
My only complaint is there are A LOT of bugs so BRING BUG SPRAY
Great Day on the Links
Staff very organized and helpful. Played 18 in 4 hrs and enjoyed some post game beverages and apps at Twisted Tavern. Heading back next week.
wow just wow!
Great conditions and very well kept, especially considering the heat waves, very friendly staff, pretty good price, challenging but doesn't beat up the average experienced golfer. love the place thank you! Will return.
Not so great
Let me start by saying ownership has done incredible things to this course. The place is now a much better course than ever. However, $98 for a round is a little excessive. This particular day they had 5 par 5 holes that had temporary tees set up in the beginning of the fairway. Shortened holes by 100 yards. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the actual tee boxes, so we decided to play from the real tees instead of the temp tees. For $98 I expect to be able to play a full playable course,
The other issue is it was cart path only for no apparent reason. There were a couple holes that had casual water. Those could have been set as CPO, but no; they made the entire course CPO. The rate of play was stupid slow. Things could have been sped up by allowing a 90 degree rule.
I think the course is great. I just dont understand the logistics of the setup for this day. It didnt make sense. July is peak season…the course shoulnt be limited. Especially for $98.
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package

Sounds like the course was wet and you didn’t want to follow rules. Why comment about which fairways that should be cpo when you ignored the tees not to play? Frog Rock might be the right place for you. As a member here, we enjoy what we have.
