Upgrades
Played Pinelands during COVID lockdown (2020) every week and haven't been back till yesterday, July 26, 2022.
Thought I played a different course. First, tree and stump removal to define course routing was amazing, fairway, rough and greens well maintained and last, the bunker shaping throughout all 18 holes is spectacular.
The only drawback was the pace of play..didn't see a marshal all day and waited a lot..but please, do not let that deter you from playing.
We usually play golf and leave but golf isn't the only great thing about Pinelands..you're missing out if you don't stop to have a beverage and eat..just as amazing as the course itself.
Great job to everyone at Pinelands, this is the way you rebuild and refurbish a course and restaurant.
Pinelands 7/24
This course is getting better each time I go there.
They are doing great things there
Worth the Cost
They contine to improve the quality of the establishment. The course offers a fair challenge to the average golfer.
Great Shape
Pinelands is in the best shape I have ever seen. Pace of play is a problem. However I get get over the condition of the course. Outstanding for the price.
Food has much improved with new ownership.
My hats off to the New Pinelands!!!
Enjoyed the round
Course is well kept and not too challenging for first time through. Absolutely no coolers even just for snacks and waters. Extra $25 if you want to ride solo even if you booked as a single. Will play again, though!
It has been a while
Last time I player Pinelands was 22 year ago. It may have been called Pinecrest back then. Many, many improvement have been made with the course starting with the 1st hole. The greens and fairways were excellent. What I noticed most was the lushness of the rough around the greens. In the past if you missed the green it was like hitting a cart path and off your ball would go into the woods. A real gem.
Awful experience
Course had such slow pace of play…groundskeeper was running sprinklers while we’re on a green. Not worth the money and I will not be back. AWFUL EXPERIENCE
It’s been a long time
It has been over 20 years since I last played Pinelands as I relocated. There has been drastic improvements to the course. Greens were excellent and rough around the greens was lush and grown in. Fairways were outstanding. This was not the case in the past. Really enjoyed the course.
