Pinelands Golf Club

Was told new family bought the course and spending a lot on improvements. It shows. Solid, all be it, short course in the pines. Greens were slow but looked good and putted true. Conditions overall were good and you can see where they are improving. Use to be a dog track, but not any more. Put it on your list of places to play.

The amount of time and effort and money the new owners have put into this place has really paid off. All new bunkers and sod almost on every hole. Fairways are in really good shape. Greens may be a bit slow but they are extremely healthy and roll very true. I have never seen this course in more perfect condition until now. 10/10 will be back here again. Can’t beat the price either. Miles above any other public course in the area.

Place looks great…. New owners are really thinking a lot of money into the place both in the clubhouse in on the golf course and it shows… The golf course has never looked better… The greens are in great condition and the changes they made are very beginner/intermediate friendly… They need to Space out the foursomes a little bit better though, Friday was a long day of waiting to hit

Soso course you can see new ownership is really trying to improve this course what I’ve heard when I played it the other day it was still being worked on in pretty bad shape the green some type of coding on but most of them do this time of year they were very bumpy Fairway patchy ,pace of play was horrible really didn’t see a Ranger out there

The new ownership has turned this course into a great place to play a round.

They are throwing an absolute ton of money at this place. The greens and fairways were handled last year, and trees the year prior, now they are attacking the rough and bunkers and they are making great strides. Any HotDeal at this place is an absolute steal.

This course was attended by friendly and accommodating staff. It is a fun challenging layout that offers birdie opportunities. The condition of the surfaces was consistent with more expensive clubs. Nicely mowed, and healthy fairways and greens. They are clearly in the midst of some interesting upgrades including adding some new bunker hazards and laying new sod in rough areas. I highly recommend this course!

For $69 they should let you know that the greens were recently aerated. A boiled hotdog on a stale roll at the concession stand was $6.30.

Love seeing this course continue to improve. I played here a few years ago. It was ok,but not worth coming back. But now the improvements have made the course better for play, prettier and looking forward to see the continuing improvements. I have been playing here once a week for the last year.

The course was in good condition, but two holes had temp greens due to work on the bunkers. Other holes has unfinished area around the greens. Thought it would be finished but not yet. I don’t remember being told about the temp greens and didn’t notice any sign. It would have been nice to be for-warned. Still a nice course.

Nice improvements in process. But the green are nice but slow after recently being aerated. No carts were available so I had to walk

Course improvements are well underway and I am excited for what the course will be when completed. We had 3 temporary holes and aerated greens the day we played.

I love the Pinelands but when I signed up to play yesterday, while I knew they had aerated I did not know that nearly all the holes would have a temp Tee box and mounds of dirt everywhere.

There should be a way to alert the golfer on Golfnow or other that the course is under construction.
