Red/Blue at Great Trail Golf Club

New owners have put so much money into this place. Amazing layout, greens, and amenities. Cannot give 5 because of tee boxes. Yikes. But sincerely an amazing deal and beautiful course.

Have played this course for years and always loved the layout and scenery. Our last trip will be our last trip. Talked the course first to make sure we could play 1 thru 18 was told we could arrived and was told we couldn't had to play 19 thru 27. Never got to play signature hole which I like. Then when we were on 9 they let 2 groups go in front of us. They have decided not to mow anything 10 to 15 yds off of the fairways so any slightly right or left of fairways was a lost ball. Terrible trip! There are a couple of mowed holes but not many, just take care of the course! Really going to miss playing here!

We’ve played Great trail a few times and the course is nice and a good challenge. The price increase wasn’t ideal but understandable from a certain few well until after today.

Issue and why I will never go back.

We had a tee time of 12:40 not a lot of people around had our own pace no issues we caught a group of 4 that were on 7 when we were on 1, we got behind them about 2pm ish on 12 we got into the parking lot about 5pm to go home

They were not only leaving beer cans all over the property but rolling on the ground and green, helicoptering clubs into carts yelling, screaming, music was blaring wouldn’t let anyone pass. Not only did we inform a worker there but the warden/manager and said worker seen them acting this way then continued to let them play. After they left on 16-18 they did nothing but chirp and swear towards us while continuing to take way too long per hole.

It not only ruined the day but honestly ate up the entire afternoon dealing with actual goobers.

I played all 27 holes. Course is on a rolling piece of property. Course is on the shorter side. But what it lacks in length it makes up in character.

Worth a play if in the area.

What a beautiful golf course! Excellent conditions (especially given the horrible weather we’ve had here). Looked at for years and never played til now. A lot of challenging holes mixed with some you can still score on. You definitely have to know the course to play well - many holes require a precision shot when you feel like you can drive it. Definitely going back soon!
