Nice course
Overall a nice course. Some tee boxes were a little rough and some greens had some missing grass patches due to the hot and dry temperature. I enjoyed the course layout and will come back again!
Greens were a bit chewed up but other than that a solid overall course.

course wasin very good shape despite the lack of rain. there were a few burned spots on some greens and in some fairwways but weeks without rain will cause that. If I lived closer I would play a lot more, it was hour and half drive, one of the best public courses I have played in years. quite a few lay up holes where you don't need driver, need tp play it once or play with someone who has played it before or be ready to lose a few balls.

Great course
The course is in great shape. Love the layout of the course. The pace of play was slow that day but it happens. We had fun and will be back to play again.

A must play!!
This was my 5th. time playing Oak Shadows. Course conditions are always excellent, greens, fairways are a notch above most public courses. Tees were a little beat up, due to lots of play. Front 9 is hilly, back 9 is flatter. Good variety of holes, Play the correct tees and you will enjoy the course. Craig the Head Pro is top notch. Well done Oak Shadows!!!

Great challenge, bad pace of play
I always enjoy going to Oak Shadows, the golf is always a challenge and fun, but on busy days I wish they would have a Marshall set up to make sure people are starting on their "OWN" tee time, it's frustrating booking a tee time and then arriving at the first tee box at your tee time and there being 3 groups waiting to tee off as well. Most places on Sundays at least implement a Marshall for this exact reason, and especially on days they know it will he busy like fathers day.

The tee boxes and greens are in rough shape if they would do some maintenance on them this golf course would be outstanding

The fairways and bunkers were in good conditions. The rough was a good height. The greens and tee box's need work.

This is hidden gem of a course.
This course is beautifully designed. I really enjoyed it. I would say the front nine is most challenging out of the 18 holes especially if you play from blue/ gold tees.
There were a couple of negatives that I would be remiss if not to mention.
The club house doesn't match the quality of the course and was limited on what they offered.
I played during the middle of the week and there seemed to be a lot of walkers on the course which slowed played down. There was no ranger monitoring play either.
Finally, there were a few holes where the greens had some patches to putt over but all in all excellent.
I really enjoyed the course and would recommend and play again but I give the course a solid 4 1/2 stars.
