Tee boxes are in bad shape
For the money this course needs major cleanup and better conditions. Very ran down for the price. I have seen better course for less money.
Tee Box
Maybe the worst tee boxes I've ever seen in 37yrs, looked like confetti strewn everywhere, need a sledgehammer to place tee in ground, green fringe was rotted/destroyed, ball bounced 30' near green like hitting cement. No sand in bunkers ?? Mowers throwing dust/dirt on every hole, 10a, there was no grass ??
Cheap but not pretty
Course was brown all over. Hard to tell fairway from rough. It all looked the same. Greens were in good shape for the most part. I don’t remember seeing sand in the sand traps, it was mostly filled in with high rough. I’d play again with a hot deal but I wouldn’t pay full price. Not kept up enough. Staff was very friendly
Good experience
It was a very good experience I enjoyed how the course gave a variety of different pars. Unfortunately tho they were water one of the courses therefore they had to send everyone to 2 course so the pace was a little slow but all around a great experience
Safety First
#1, course employees did a great job following pandemic protocols. Contact-free window at the clubhouse and obvious cleaning of carts were key. Way better than other courses I've played this year. Course was in pretty good shape despite the recent crazy weather. Pace of play was excellent. I recommend Loyal Oak for golfers seeking a safe course in this crazy time at an affordable price.
Nice course pretty wide open not much trouble and very few sand traps and water small greens that were very very slow
Fun course
Nice course fairly wide open not to much sand traps need to score well on the front nine back nine plays longer and the greens are small and very slow
