Great value!
$12 to play 18 holes with cart at an OK golf course is a great deal. Unfortunately the course attracts a lot of bad (slow) golfers.
Good for the money.
its an ok course. The sand traps on the front nine were more like grown over mud pits. The second nine was better. However, no rakes for the sand traps and they were hard as rock. Great course for beginners.
Great Day of Golf at Loyal Oak
The course is in very good condition and the $14 hot deal was outstanding.
Heading back soon
Superb pace of play, nice electric cart, and no issues at all with the rough. Yes the greens could have been quicker but my group couldn’t understand all the shade thrown in other reviews. This course was a great surprise and the staff seemed to really appreciate their customers. Will be happy to head back soon and hope our round includes the nine holes we didn’t get to see today as we played 10-27.
Close to Akron
Close to Akron. Decent layout. Price was OK, but Hey it's Spring so what can you expect. Greens need rolled that's all I can say
So I
Pace of play
Love the course however there is no starter and groups just play whatever nine they want and backs up play. Took 3 hours to play the back nine. Waited at least 10 minutes at each tee box on the back nine.
Great Course
Love golfing here. Today brought my son and is a great place for him to continue to learn. I love playing here for the service, a good choice of nine holes and good value. Great people.
Great time for all
I play this course often because I really enjoy talking with the owners and just feel very welcomed. They have done everything they can to make it possible for us to play during the Covid-19 issues. The pace was just fine and the course is beginning to dry out to play a good round of golf. Anyone with a wide range of skill levels can play here comfortably and with plenty of challenges to make it interesting. I recommend this course to all my friends. A good comfortable course for the money.
It needs help.
Most of the course is a swamp. The tee boxes have improved from last year. The fairways are cut but still 90% weeds. The greens are in better shape but still not receptive and probably the slowest greens I've ever putted on. It's a good course to practice on because there's usually no one else playing.
Loyal Oak GC
Staff was great. Early in season so everything is wet but playable. Greens and fairways were cut.
Hidden treasure
For early May course was a little sloppy, but open to carts. I was pleasantly surprised by the green conditions and pace. Staff was diligent sanitizing carts and keeping people apart. Staggered t-times kept the pace casual. Lots of trees blooming, I'll be coming back soon. Maybe play all 27
Very accommodating staff
While this is a difficult time for our society I was provided with a clean and sanitary cart, and hand sanitizer. I realize the limitations that have been put on the course staff to ensure customer safety.
