Good course for the money
Wide open course and the staff is very friendly and nice. Owner is very personable and makes it enjoyable to play! Myself and coworkers from Amazon come to play this course often. Small greens so can be challenging. Hills and steep slopes on some holes. Only thing this place is missing is better fairways but if they had that, the owner could probably charge $80 for 18 holes! I love the course just the way it is! Would love to see them update clubhouse and offer contactless or debit/credit cards. Again the price would probably go up though! Recommend the course to anyone visiting the area, doesn’t want to pay large amounts and doesn’t want to lose any expensive golf balls!
They were watering geeens on just about every hole as we were approaching green
Pace of play
The pace of play was great. Wasn’t to busy at all and was a nice course.
Good Value
Very fast pace of play. My son and I finished 18 holes in 2 hours and 40 min. The gentleman in the clubhouse was super nice guy!
This course has a great layout with 27 holes. Very friendly and courteous staff. This definitely my go to course
Nice fairways and friendly service.
The greens were wet from recent rain, hardly any sand traps but overall a joy to play. We will be back!
Good value
Layout is nice play pace excellent fairway little rough greens slow all the course needs is some tic
Loyal Oak
Cheap course in Akron Area. Showed up for my first time staff was very friendly, came early and pace of play was no issue at all. Course was very we’ll maintained, not very wet, grass all cut looking nice. Very open course, good for beginners not wanting to find many trees, and a good course for better golfers as well with some challenging par 4’s. Very surprised by this course and with the price, the value is unmatched. 5 stars for me
Great looking course
We came about after about 3 days of rain and early in the morning so the course was extremely muddy. Only complaint I had was it seemed like the water puddles fill quite often and there were quite a few of them. Other than that it was very fun and very friendly staff
Horrible
Greens haven’t been cut in forever. No fairway, it was like playing in my backyard. Pace of play was awful, booked on GolfNow and they book off site as well. Three groups at the tee box at our team time. On the course it was more like a rock concert, people screaming and blaring music. Will never come back…
Played early and had heavy due.
Lost several balls just slightly off the fairway. Enjoyed the course and everyone was very friendly including other golfers.
A very nice unpretentious course.
In pretty good shape for a relatively inexpensive course.
Love it
Can’t beat the price for 18 holes and a cart! I have played here multiple times this summer and can easily say I will definitely be back again. It’s a nice relaxing pace and the staff is great. Course conditions are alright especially considering all the rain we have had this year.
Nice course, staff was awesome!
We’ve been playing tons of courses in the area this summer. This was one of my favorites! The layout was nice. My only con is the ladies tees don’t have much advantage - but they give you an extra hit to par (so a men’s “white tee” 4 is a women’s “red tee” 5). The biggest advantage I thought was the food. I had their Italian sausage and it was great. The prices are awesome too - we paid $17 for 6 bud lights and a sausage hot dog. (I feel like I’d expect to pay $30 on average for this at other courses). Every staff member was also very friendly!!! It is cash only - we brought cash with us after reading other reviews. But there is an ATM on site. Overall, this was a fun course to play and I enjoyed my mid morning round! 18 holes took us 4 hrs almost exactly. Can’t wait to come back in the fall - it’ll be beautiful!
