The Pines
Had a great time with my family. Pace of play for a Saturday afternoon was just perfect. Never had to wait and we were not waited on. Course is in good shape and the greens are rolling pretty true right now, which was fairly surprising to me for a small town course like that. For 17 bucks on a weekend, CANT BEAT IT.
Great day and dinner
Got 18 completed in 3 and a half hours. My wife and friends met up at the beautiful restaurant overlooking the back 9. Wonderful food at amazing prices. Definitely going back. Highly recommend.
Golf
It has its challenges could use some updated carts
Fairways and greens great, the rest... well...
Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. The rough on the other hand was a sea of overgrown clover. Tees were very average, and bunkers were a disaster. Our golf cart was one of the worst I’ve ever had; very jerky and at times I could have walked faster.
While I enjoyed the course overall I can never give too high of marks to courses that throw multiple nine hole groups off number 10 tee when it results in pace of play for my group (and others making the turn) essentially grinding to a halt. Very disappointing and honestly left me with a bad taste in my mouth for this course. I can’t say I’d go out of my way to return.
Father Son time
Excellent course. Excellent staff. Excellent weather. Friendly golfers. Played my best round. Oldest son got his very first par. Plus got to spend time with my two boys. Can’t ask for anything better.
Wonderful Day
We hadn't played The Pines for several years and were delighted with the condition of the course and the pace of play. The course is beautiful and challenging enough for a seasoned golfer without being impossible for a novice. We will return.
Actually good to get out and play on a good course at this time of year. Decent shape for such a wet Spring!!
Extremely friendly
Under these COVID 19 conditions it was very nice to get outside and play golf and forget about everything going on right now! Everything at the course went smoothly, no issues and the whole process was handled very professionally!
Snow sucks
the only bad thing about the day was the fact that it stayed snowing. That sucks, but otherwise love the course and staff
Nice course
My brother and I played The Pines today and had a very enjoyable day, for the end of November the course was in good condition and is a challenging layout.
Favorite Place to Golf
I've been golfing The Pines for about 15 years and still my favorite course to play and even though the spring rain made this course a bit ugly and fairways bare I believe it will be fine to play and probably back in pristine shape next year
Pines could be 5 out of 5
This golf course could be one of the very best in NE Ohio if they would keep the fairways mowed down, the rough mowed and generally things trimmed and neat. Terrific layout, greens are good carts are older but functional. I hope this course receives the TLC it deserves.
