Great Value
Excellent greens, fairways and tee boxes. This course has a little of everything, water creeks good bunkers, can play long or just enjoy the white tees and have fun.
Great Course
I booked through golf-now for 10 people and the course allowed us to all play together in two five-somes. We allowed the few people that caught up to us to play through. The course starts off with a long par 5 with a semi-blind tee shot. Nice short par 4's filled in between the par 5's. Greens in good condition, holding long and short irons. Most holes are straight but there is trouble is you spray your tee shot. The back nine requires a little more thought off the tee with picking something other than driver for the long hitters. Good mix of holes that have a little trouble and others that are easy. Played here many times and the course is busy but not usually packed.
Nice course
Nice Course... Fun layout.
Just wish the courses staff didn't lie about the condition of the greens
Good layout and nice fairways the course prob nice if u could play all 18 holes instead of the staff stating the greens were aeriated a month ago. When we got there and confirmed our tee time we were told the back nine closed
This course has great features
course requires straight hitting, is in great shape.
good variety of holes
Course was in great shape - greens were quick and true.
Layout calls for using every club in the bag.
only downfall was payed for 18 and only got to play 9 holes
Went out with my buddy and we were both striking the ball well. He shot a 37 and I recorded a 41 on the back 9. We were only able to play the back 9 due to the weather. Course was in great shape considering how much it was raining.
Good course for the money.
This is one of my favorite local courses. The course is in good shape and the greens have some good slope on most holes.I especially like holes 11-13 which are played through a large rolling hill with water in play.
well maintained greens
great course for the price. we had a great time despite the iffy weather on a holiday. even on a crowded holiday, pace of play was very good. even after telling us there would be no "cart girl" coming around, by the time we finished, she had been by at least 5 times to check on us.
Great Deal
Can't go wrong paying $11 for 18 and a cart.......
very nice course
Very enjoyable course greens and grounds in nice shape will play here again.
Green are always maintained
I've played this course 9 times in 2 years. The front 9 isn't as challenging as the back 9, but the greens are consistently maintained and hold a regular to fast speed no matter what the weather conditions are.
This area (Ottawa) seems to attract more standing water than courses that are 10-15 miles away and this was true for the day we played. Conditions were cart path only, front 9 only and range was closed. It was just too wet for a good round. The front 9 is in an open area with little tree coverage and is very windy which makes it difficult play at times.
Staff was courteous and the pro shop receptive to our questions and concerns.
