Very open course
Very nice open course. First time playing here and I would play here again. The only person I spoke at the course was funny and was easy to talk too. Very outgoing and helpful. They have a nice handout that helps you see things you can’t see from the tee-box. Very slow pace today
Stormy
When the tee time was scheduled online, the weatherman did not predict wet weather. I arrived at the 9th hole green and a thunderstorm started with area lightning. Because a break in rain appeared unlikely, I asked if a rain check is available just like everyone else coming off the course. But, I was told that their computer would not allow it. I had thought that people were smarter than the computer. If a thunderstorm does not close a course, what else would other than a health department order. The 9 holes played were a good game.
Great condition
Pike Run is in great shape. Challenging but fun to play. Fast carts that fit newer bags. Well worth the hour drive from Toledo. Ground crew should be commended for such great conditions in such a drought. Third time playing, we'll be back.
Great local course
Really fun course with nice wide fairways. It's not super challanging but is a great place to have fun.
Pike Run
This golf course is in fantastic condition, the greens were a little slow because late in the year they slow them down, but they also were perfect and rolled true.I recommend this course to all skill levels.
Enjoyable experience with friendly players
We got a quick round of 18 holes in (Hot Deal for $10). The course was in good shape (especially considering the lack of rain in our area recently) and the staff was helpful and friendly. We had a twosome and both foursomes we came across let us play through immediately (it's a courtesy, not a requirement; but it was certainly appreciated). We played an entire round in 2 hours and 45 minutes. The only issue is that the tee-boxes can be a bit tricky to find if you don't pay close attention to the signs drawn on the cart path.
Thanks for a great experience!
