About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

Nice Course!
I really like this course. It is well maintained and the layout is good as well.
I hope the range nets get put back in (due to the storm) so we can practice before my next round.

Great condition
The course is in great condition for mid October. The greens run were in amazing shape and everything was manicured very well. There were tons of leaves, but not much could be done about that. The price was a high for the time of year, but you get what you pay for. The cart girl was riding around and I think the rest stop was open near the turn.

The course conditions
It is an interesting course but the fairway conditions could be better. If the speed of the green is faster, I think the course is more interesting too. I liked the course!!

Fairways were being aerated
The fairway was being aerated when I played but the crew cleaned up very quickly and course was still in decent shape.

Course was in meticulous shape. Green were smooth even though recently aerated. Staff is great as well.

Wind Watch is Challenging and Fun!!
Course conditions were perfect. Layout was very challenging. Staff friendliness was amazing - pro shop, starter, mid course snack bar, and young lady driving snack car. All so nice. Thank you Wind Watch. Hope to play here again soon.
