About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

The course was aerated last week, that wasn’t the worst, it rain the big before and not one worker cleared the green of the dew and excess water, and there was workers everywhere, you could not putt! because of all the Excess water, at the end of my round I went and talked to The person in charge and they told me that’s too bad there’s nothing I can do.
They didn’t care, I will never play there again or my friends.

Great choice
I think this is top 3 tracks inn suffolk county. Course was in great shape and the track other than hole # 18 is top. Notch. Every hole is attractive and challenging. Well worth the few extra dollars to play.

Great course, quirky layout
Really enjoyed it, even though I wasn’t smart enough to lay up when I should’ve. Tougher than it looks but not unfairly punishing. Recommended but under no circumstances should anyone ever walk this course. Layout spaces some of the holes VERY far apart. Looking forward to playing it again.

A gem
This course is a gem among the public courses on Long Island. Greens were perfect, course was well taken care of. Sand in bunkers! Nice layout. Highly recommended!
