About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

Can’t wait to play again
First time playing at this course. Heard great things about it and it stood up to everything I’ve heard. It’s a fun course, great condition, open fairways and awesome customer service. Will be back here for sure and highly recommend playing.
Nice, but.....
I liked the course but was a bit disappointed in the upkeep. When you pay over $100 for a round there should not be hundreds of broken tees on the tee boxes. Generally a nice course, but a few details should be addressed!

Definitely should be played
Course is really nice with great greens. Has some challenging holes with water. Layout in terms of hole to hole a bit odd. Outside of that the course is a lot of fun.

Course is in Beautiful Condition
First time playing this course, could not believe the condition of the course as well as the pace of play. Greens could be difficult based on pin placement but the greens were in perfect condition. Weather was unbelievable, 70-80 degrees during play with slight wind.

Hamlet wind watch is a semi private golf course which the public can play and it is absolutely beautiful, extremely well maintained, a shot makers delight little tight but ability to scramble a must there, the best sand of any public course on the island and perfect putting greens which are to me a perfect speed and not to mention a grass driving range and multiple greens to practice on absolutely one of the nicest courses you can play on Long Island thank you for taking care of the golf course will be back on Sunday !!!

Need rangers to speed up play
It’s a challenging Track in great shape, not a course for weekend hacks, but the pace of play is ridiculous or atleast was today, we had a foursome in front of us holding up the whole course, with no ranger anywhere to be found.

Tee boxes, fairways, and rough all in great shape. Greens were in good shape, but extremely fast even though it rained the entire day before. Nice course and layout. A little narrow for my liking. Nice challenge though.

Fine track / great conditions / unlucky with 5 slow groups ahead
For a public access course - greens were magnificent and overall course was in great shape. Too bad about the slow play - not sure if rangers could have helped, but it wouldn’t have hurt . . .
