About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

Very very very slow
I waited 20-25 minutes between holes and only played the front 9

Nice Course
This is a challenging course with large greens. I like playing here, but the pace of play has to be improved. We played a 5 hour round and that is not acceptable.

Great course in excellent shape but it's pricey and played slow a
The course itself is in great shape Conditions were awesome for this late in the season. The course itself is beautiful with several elevated tee boxes with awesome views. But pace of play was SLOW. 2PM tee time and barely finished 15 holes by sundown (around 6PM). It was late fall Saturday afternoon so maybe that's expected. Short game practice area with real grass tees was extra $30.I paid the extra fee just to try it out since it was my first time there, but definitely not worth the money IMO. Course layout is strange, long jaunts with the cart between some of the holes. I felt like I was bouncing back and forth all over the place. I wouldn't play here on the regular given how pricey it is, but it's worth a try or once or twice a season. Overall gorgeous golf course.

It was great greens were in great condition I have to say one of the better course I’ve played at.

Beautiful Place
Played here alot many years ago.Much cheaper then.Always wanted to try again.Failing health made me go for it even though out of my price range.GLAD i did.SO BEAUTIFUL HERE

Wind Watch
Played a round in intermittent rain- they got us out early- hardly anyone on the course- nice course- some sand, some water- greens in great shape. Good day in spite of the weather. Had a quick lunch afterwards- food was good.

Lovely course!
As what’s, I have issues with people not replacing divots or repairing ball marks on greens, and this course is no different. Beautiful course, especially oday which was sunny, chill to the air, not much wind. Challenging distance wise, but not a lot of variation to the holes. Greens ran true and were receptive. Would play here again.

Great course
First time playing here and it was a great time. Rain held off and was pretty empty so I can’t really comment on pace of play on a regular day. Very tough course so be prepared to hit some tough shots. Course in excellent condition.

Fun but tough
Course is tight and challenging with tough greens but well designed. Beautiful and fun round. Beverage cart attendant was outstanding mixing both professionalism with warmth and very attentive. Course was in good shape. This is more or less a true target golf course. Price was high for the conditions but you can pretty much always get a tee time so you are paying up for it. Bring your “A” game!

Course in good condition. Pleased to see the geese situation as been resolved from the last time we played. Challenging course, enjoyed our round of golf. Still feel a round of golf is a little pricey.
