About
Although it is located in Hauppauge on Long Island's North Shore, Wind Watch Golf Club possesses the look and feel of a destination course. Sprawling across a lush, rolling landscape covered with sparkling ponds, the course is as challenging as it is scenic. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes and there are more than 75 bunkers, some of which are massive in size, strategically placed throughout. Almost every hole presents golfers with a unique risk-reward opportunity. The golf course begins and ends at its highest point, which is one of the island's highest elevations. Wind Watch's closing hole provides a memorable finish as the only dogleg on the course. This par 4 takes a sharp left before climbing uphill to the triple-tiered green that is protected by three enormous traps.

Good shape
The course was in great shape for this time of year. Pace of play wasn’t horrible considering the group ahead of us was giving lessons to a player for every shot. A few hot drives up on them ended that

Better than expected
Good layout, good shape, great pace of play. Worth the $80 during the week and might be worth the 110 on weekends as the pace of play and conditions were top notch for public golf on LI.

Course is in good condition for a public golf course. They were in the process of aerating the fairways which made a few of the holes more difficult to play. Narrow fairways in a lot places. Greens were nice.

Wind Watch Golf
Had a good day on the course. As a single I was coupled with three very nice women that were friendly and accommodating, not to mention very good golfers. As usual I wish my day went a little better but the course was well maintained and fun to play. I was prepared to walk the course but that was not an option, carts only. I wasn't too disappointed as this course is spread out with some major hills. I'll be back, hopefully soon.

Greta course perfect shape it has a little bit of everything long par 3's, par5, par 4
.s short ones and long ones. I will definitely be playing again.
