Piqua Country Club

PCC is a truly amazing course. Great design, great condition, and some of the best greens anywhere in the country. So happy with the overall experience.

I was out of town working and looking to play golf on my downtime. This course you’re able to be a member for the day and the staff treated me as one, the starter even loaded my clubs in my cart while I walked inside the check-in, two of the club members bought me a Coke at the turn. Course was laid out nice and pretty forgiving. Overall, it was a very fun course to play.

Fairways were nice. Most tee boxes were nice but some had damage. Greens are super fast. One green had a bit 25% of it unplayable, maybe due to tree damage. There was no kitchen staff so there was food to grab on the turn and they were asking $5 for a candy bar. Overall, I did t feel like the experience was worth doing el the green fees for other courses in the area.

Course was in great shape as usual. Had the course to ourselves. Some of the tee boxes were rough but I’ve experienced that at other courses in the area. The greens were fast and smooth as always. Love it!

Great course with fast greens. Better stay in the fairways or plan on some digging out of the rough. Super friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful course. Well designed. Staff was so friendly. So happy I found it on GolfNow, and was able to get a feel for the course. Will look into membership, as these greens would be quite the experience in the summer.

I’ve been wanting to play Piqua CC for 30 years as I’ve been driving passed it for that many years. Today was the day.

Course location is down in a valley and has a creek that comes into play a lot, a lot. But very playable. Donald Ross greens, you love him and hate him at the same time. What a classic course and keep it below the hole, trust me. 3/3 putts on the front nine and still had a great day. Starter was fantastic, told us the history of the course, the routing changes, places to be and places not to be. Great guy. Alex the cart girl is fantastic and God Bless Her for being a teacher. Go Green. Go White. Guy in the bar, a fellow MSU fan and member was super nice. Everyone was very welcoming. Will definitely be back. Only suggestion is tell newbies to go left to #3 after #2. This course is very well manicured and features amazingly smooth greens. This is a classic Donald Ross golf course and one of the oldest in the area. I truly enjoyed this golf course!

I love this course! I live out of state and play with a member when I visit family in the area. My favorite course in the Miami Valley, just because it is always in pristine condition. I've heard people use that word about public courses in the area, and it is not true, but this place is always immaculate! Pete, the superintendent, keeps this place perfect at all times. Bentgrass greens that roll better than anywhere else I play, including my own country club. I believe it is bentgrass everywhere, so the ball will not sit up, like on Zoysia or Bermuda. Very tight fairways means you had better make good contact or you will hit it fat or thin ever time.
Anyway, if you can get on this course, it is worth the time and money. If you enjoy playing local and muni courses, and consider them 'pristine,' then don't play here. It will change your whole perspective of the word, and you won't want to play anywhere else!
