Lakeland Golf Club

About
Lakeland Golf Club originally opened in 1964 and in 2002 it was expanded to an 18-hole championship course. Barry Serafin reworked the traditional design of the original layout into a challenging course that is still playable for a range of skill levels. The five diverse sets of tees make it even more accommodating. Seasoned players will find the championship tees to be a formidable test but the gold tees are tame enough for beginners. Its versatility makes the golf course an excellent venue for tournaments and outings. The course can be tight in some spots, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. Lakeland Golf Club's fairways are generous and seemingly tame but they are bordered by strategically positioned bunkers. There are also meandering streams and a few lakes that come into play on a few holes.

The greens are in the best shape ever.
My friends and I love this course. It’s challenging and currently in the best shape all year. The staff are wonderful and friendly. Pace of play was great. Mostly quiet and peaceful. That is until golfer s do a bad strike.
Really like Lakeland
The staff are super friendly. Love the layout. We will be back again this year. Course is in good shape.
Nice course!
It is hard to beat the price for this course. It is very beautiful. It was very busy ...the course could benefit by having a starter at busy times. Clubhouse is small but honestly didnt spend much time in there. Were held up somewhat on the course by a 4-some 4 groups ahead of us. Greens were in good condition and so were fairways.
Lakeland
Greens were recently (day before) aerated and sanded. Very bumpy and slow, naturally.
Wish we had been advised of this before we bought tee time.
Regular player
Course was in good condition but as usual the tee boxes were rough. Pace of play was excellent for a Sunday! 4 hours flat and grateful do to the heat! I have a hard time with a $45 rate but discounted rates well worth it!
Great layout. Course is challenging.
Great layout. Course in real good shape. Greens are the best I’ve seen in years. The staff is making amazing progress.
Great round
Great round the course was in good condition. Tee boxes were a little rough due to all the rain. We unfortunately had to experience one individual who thought play was too slow for his taste and tried to jump in front of us on the 7 hole. After I explained that’s not the way it works and moved him along the round continued without delay. We finished in 3:40. For a packed course the pace of play was excellent!
