About
Located adjacent to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Safari Golf Club was carefully carved from mature forests. This tight course is not particularly long, but it has a varied design that appeals to a number of different tastes and skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and water hazards on several holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking treacherously beside the greens. The golf course starts off with a challenging par 4 that features a dramatic drop from the tee to the green. It finishes with two demanding par 4s as well. The 17th and 18th holes both feature a slew of challenges including rolling, tree-lined fairways and tricky stream crossings. Although it presents a formidable test on some holes, Safari Golf Club's hazards are straightforward with no surprises.

Great Course
The course was in great shape. Fairways cut and grees rolled. Excellent job
Safari
The worst part of my round was the rough right off the fairway, which was about 4" deep. All you have to do is keep your ball in the fairway. Lost 3 balls & not in ponds or woods! Nice layout. Other golfers not as understanding as we would have liked.
Nursing home golf
7 holes took two hours. Clocked in a front nine of 2 hours 42 mins. Needless to say we left and didn’t play the back.
Near empty parking lot. Was told couldn’t take a separate cart over Covid despite plenty available.
Poorly managed course that was in decent shape.
Short course
Short course, but greens are pretty fast. Very nice course and very nice area. Would play it again for the price on tee off.
First timer
Greens were in great shape and much faster than I anticipated!
Cannot beat the value of this course for the cost. I was in from out of town, and I’ll definitely go back
Enjoyable round
Had an opening in my schedule so I went to Golfnow and booked a round at Safari. Check in was a breeze, range was open, staff was very friendly and accommodating plus the pace of play was as expected. Teamed up with a couple to make the round even more enjoyable. Greens were fast but fair rough was a bit long but it had been wet.
