Rawiga Golf Club

Course was in great shape. Greens were very fast but fair. Good value too.

A decent track but painful pace of play. No starter in sight and three groups deep on the first tee. Greens were fairly quick (I prefer quicker) but absolutely rock hard and would not hold irons.

Nice course. Nice layout. Will definitely play there again.

Very nice course, challenging for sure. My issue with this place is the fact that 3 out of the last 5 times I’ve played this course this year, I’ve called to see how open the course is(beginning of the year they didn’t accept tee times, I assume due to covid, so I would always call before showing up) and whoever answered the phone would always say “come on out will get you out there!” Or “yea, course is wide open!” Only to show up and have to wait, and the one time they wouldn’t even let us go out because of an outing that was just teeing off. Needs more communication and less stacking off tee times

First time playing this course. Course is well maintained and challenging. Good pace of play and excellent value. Will be back for sure!

I’ve played this course over the last six years with a number of friends that I worked with and are now fellow retirees. From the first time played we were impressed with the layout, the course condition, the challenge and the staff. This is now our go to course and it is a 45 minute drive for me. Today we played early and the course was crowded but we had no problem getting off at our tee time. Also very reasonable greens fee, I highly recommend.

Made reservation for a Friday..

Golf now pushed it to Saturday because Rawiga had an event. Tried to contact Golf Now through every possible means to cancel , but there is no feasible way to contact them. Rawiga was nice enough to switch it to a time I could play.. DO NOT make tee time through Golf Now!

Excellent course. Not too Far from Cleveland area for looking new courses to play. Conditions were good given the lack of recent rain. Long yardage white tees but I like 60-6500 yds anyways. Will definitely play again especially on “hot deal”. Picture is Hole #1 looking back.

For all the rain we have been getting the course was in excellent shape from tee to green even the rough( where I tend to find my ball most of the round ) was cut and playable. Greens for a change were a little softer than usual and the putting surfaces were as smooth as glass. Great day on an ever Greater course.

I booked a tee time through the Rawiga website for 11;36 am on a Saturday. I arrived around 11:00am and was told i would have to wait for a golf cart, which was completely fine since i was early anyway. I went a putted for a while and got back to the club house about 11:30am. Still no carts, I was told there would be one shortly. 45 minutes goes by and still nothing. Finally one becomes available but is given to another group whose tee time was after mine. I waited patiently for another 20 minutes (it is now about 12:30, an hour after my scheduled tee time) and still no carts. There is about 30 people waiting for a cart to begin play at this point. I decide since I am a single and it is clearly backed up on a saturday to maybe try my luck somewhere else. I speak to the guy running the course and he says he cant give me a rain check or refund, but to call Golf Now and they will issue a refund no problem. He was very apologetic while i was there, but that would change.

I went to another course to play and on Monday i attempt to call golf now for a refund. They close at 5pm and i work until 5pm monday through friday so the first chance i got to talk to them about this was saturday (a week later).

The golf now associate calls Rawiga and Im told that the person who answered the phone told them I played and to not give me a refund. I call the course directly and speak with them. He apologizes and tells me to have them call him again and he will take care of it. He had forgotten about what happened.

Golf now calls again and once again tells me they were told i golfed that round and to not give me a refund.

I call the course again and speak to the same person. He is now rude and states "its not our fault you didnt play and we will not give you a refund" I WAITED AN HOUR AFTER MY TEE TIME AND THEY STILL COULDNT GET ME OUT!

When a golf course takes a reservation, they should be able to accommodate that reservation. I dont think it is out of line for me to be annoyed about having to wait an hour after my tee time and still have no clue when i will be able to tee off, and have 30 people behind me in a rush because they have been waiting as well.

If i was not told i would get a refund without issue, it might have made my decision different, but when i am told they would help me get a refund i didnt have any reason to believe they wouldnt.

Bottom line is, if you book a tee time here it will be a crap shoot whether or not they will actually have an opening at that time or not, even though you reserve it, and you will not get your money back if you pre pay to make thing easier.

Terrible course management and even worse customer service.

I golf 4-5 times a week and will never go back to Rawiga again, too many decent courses in the area to go to a place that treats customers that poorly.

Try Ridge Top, Chippewa, or Bunker Hill. They know how to properly run a golf course and treat customers.

I tried three times to book a tee time at Rawiga through GolfNow. The online app came up with an error that said unable to process payment all three times. SO....I never played this course although I hear it’s fantastic! Sure hope I wasn’t charged for a tee time I’ll go ahead and give the course high ratings due to great recommendations.

What a great, fun course to play. Lots of varied terrain, elevation, mature tree's make keeping the ball in the fairway a must if you want to score well. Course was in great shape and crowned greens were challenging. Cant wait to go back. Prices are the best in Medina.

The course was in wonderful shape, the staff was incredibly friendly (“we’re happy you’re here”) and the book with playing tips helped a lot as this was my first time playing. I’ll be back many times!

Course is very hilly, as long as you keep the ball in the fairway you should be fine. Easier said than done as the fairways tend to be tight. Because of the hilly conditions even on the fairway it is tough to attain a flat lie so many shots will test the average golfer. Not a course for beginners. Greens were very fast and hard. Most holes become extremely difficult to make par if you stray off the fairways. Many blind shots so for first timers like me it was a real grind. After playing the course a few times to learn the layout I think average golfers would do okay.
